90 here right now! Who says Summer is over here...............uh uh not yet old man winter!

my sister and I have a great time at the flea markets and it is not just for the fun of it ,we have a great time spending the day together and hope your sister can make it to your festival CE .

We've had 102-107 heat advisories since Saturday. Winter what??? I stay sweating just looking at all the work left to do on my pond. And still no luck finding a waterfall rock. I did get my plants planted in the water and barely survived a vicious frog attack Sunday. Frog-1 Me-0.

Wow! Summer finally showed up! I was tempted to get in the pond and sit with the fish...lol

Nice and warm again today. I think I better put some wet stuff on my plants before they all disappear. Not used to having to water so much here.

JW you getting a taste of what we go through all summer .Right now we are getting heavy dew every night so things are getting watered that way .My fence after bleaching it with extra strength clorox that I get at sams club .Got permission to take pics .What a pond .They have to spend a lot of money to bring it back after it was neglected

We get the heavy dew too but up here where I live the soil is so sandy it dries out super fast w/ all this daytime heat. Good job on your fence and that's quite a big pond to have to fix!

and stupid me said I would help them figure it all out .They are hiring people to clean the whole thing of brush and limbs .I figure it at the full level it would be around 50000 gallons or more because I have no clue of the depth .The bridge repairs are easy and gave them a list of what they will need ,mostly cosmetic .The deck needs very minor repairs it looks newer than the bridge .I dropped a rope from the bridge with a rock tied to it (all I could think of on short notice to estimate depth .5 ft maybe more natural pond no liner that I can see .So they will need to be careful in clean up .I figure most depth would be under the bridge

You really know how to make more work for yourself don't ya sissy! Oh you know you love it and hope you will post more pix of the cleanup and fix process.

I'm not doing the work they will hire people .They are supposed to bring in stone and they think it will be a quick fix but I think it may be more than 2 years and a lot of money .I told them to fill part of it in and make it a lot smaller to keep down the expense .I don't think they have the money to restore it to what it was .They may have to do a natural pond .Put in a floating pump with a fountain head .That will cost around 6 thousand dollars or more for 2 of them and then another 2 thousand for a aerator .The electric bill will not be pretty

Not as hot today, only the low 90's. Rain clouds are coming in from the west (I need to sneak out and roll my mother in laws car windows down) Just supposed to be in the 80's tomorrow!

Summer back here, so that is good!! BUT ... All HELL Breaking out!!! Russian's are Invading, ISIS captures 40 or 50 UN Peacekeepers in the Golen Heights, Canada sending all warplanes... Ebola Worse than WHO ever Feared!! Could the News be ANY WoRsE!

Sissy they should get thoses big floating windmills, that turns and "churns" the water when the wind blows.
