Now do you have a big garden sissy? Cuz as much as you like the veggies you should have a great big one and grow all your favorite types. Bet they would grow well in your weather. I know you mentioned your squash didn't do well but maybe this was just a freak year.

I really don't grow much because I don't have the time to tend to a veggie garden .I just grow a couple of tomato plants and pickle plants and a couple of other veggies .This year nothing grew worth a darn .

The only thing that grew well for me this year was weeds and volunteer cherry tomatoes. Any veggie planted at the beginning of the season did not do well.

My garden was slow to get going this year but now is doing well. We have gotten 4 1/2 inches of rain in the last week so garden will love it.

Even when you go in the grocery stores there is even less appealing fruit and veggies .If poor boys fruit and veggie stand was not so far away i would go more often .The Danville one is not very good and expensive .It is so humid out today I am soaked just from weeding and dead heading the flowers .Supposed to get up to 92 today

Well one thing that had lots of good flavor this year in the stores was Watermelon. It was so sweet and juicy unlike a lot of years past. Must have been a good year for them. Got a nice seedless one for 19cents a lb the other day :)

Sun is back! Yahoo, mountain dew
