Much of Wisconsin is in an Extreme Cold Warning now. Our area is still in a Cold Weather Advisory, but windchills could be as cold as -30°F today and -35°F tomorrow. Actual temperature could get down to -10°F tonight.

I went out last night to check out some of the planets and when I came back in two minutes later I was shivering.

Out blowing the snow off the drive, another snow storm rolled in, but just half a hour or so.

We've been upgraded to an Extreme Cold Warning for tomorrow morning. It's our first "Extreme Cold Warning" since the National Weather Service switched to it from the old Wind Chill Warning. Schools in the area are starting to announce closures.

That is the net over the deck. The one the pups go out on. Protects them from birds of prey.

I've been watching coverage of the Texas/Louisiana/Florida winter storm on tv and watching the New Orleans live cam. It's not often I think "I hope we don't see as much snow as Louisiana". They're expecting as much as 8" in parts of the state.

Pretty fun watching the Bourbon Street cameras. Almost every person I see on them is either taking photos or making snowballs.

Yikes! That's rough. We woke up to 8 degrees this morning. Fortunately no frozen pipes (we have two that need to drip if it's in the low single digits) At least your **indoor** temps are reasonable. Our poor heat pump couldn't keep up yesterday & it never got much above 60 in the house. Today the sun is shining, though, so that should help!
