Last week we had some really cool temps and thunderstorms. Hubby said on the news they said we are 20 degrees below normal for this time of year and I believe it. I'M NOT READY FOR WINTER YET!!!! It's currently 44 and looking at a high today of 75F. Then Tuesday a high of 81 and then the rest of the week a high in the mid 80's. :) What kind of winter are we in for this year????????

OK had a really nice walk this morning. The sun came out and I discovered a new and exciting place to go with the puppies. There was a stream, huge beautiful cat tails and then it turned into a beautiful pond in this deep ravine that well followed down to this really big waterfall. I forgot to charge my new phone so I did not get any pictures. I will go again later and get some pictures cause it was so beautiful!

Put a new bench together that was on a big sale. Lots of good sales for yard stuff now. Finally figuring out the new phone,

Temperature has warmed up lots from this morning, right now it is 70 degrees. My mother drove down for coffee this morning and then my nephew came too, Been busy and made three pots of coffee today. First pot went to hubby this morning, Better call my mom and make sure she made it home OK.

H O T !!!!!! You know it's hot when you have your AC set on 77, go outside to mow for 1.5 hours, and come inside and say, "Man, it's freezing in here!" Yep, humidity and 97 degrees yesterday made it feel like 104-107. Yucky, but I was on the lake with FB and 2 of his daughters, and the water felt heavenly. Again, the water felt kinda chilly, because the air temp was so dreadful. Days like this, you either stay inside, or outside where there is water ... lots of water! Staying inside tonight, since I rinsed out my skimmer filters and filled the goldfish pond some. Amazing that even with 90's for temps, the humidity keeps the ponds from losing much water.

Agreed CE. Same weather here except we have had 2 inches of rain since Fri. Pond is full. But I have been topping off less since the high humidity.

Hubbies out of town in St. Regis which is about 113 miles fom here and he says the mountains are dusted with snow. What the heck it's way to early for snow! We had a COLD winter last year and I don't want to deal with another one. Please be kind to us this year!

We've got our first heat alert of the year here! This will be our hottest day of summer, at just under 100 F. Spent the past two weeks in the Maritimes. I think we got hit by a hurricane a week ago. Pouring rain for a day and a half, and winds that could almost sweep you off your feet! The rest of the time was cool and cloudy, but I did manage to steal a few rocks in Nova Scotia and PEI. :D

Aaron, I wish it got below 73 here at night, too. WE have had a heat advisory since last Sat., supposed to have ended Monday, but they have extended it until tomorrow evening at this point. I'm ready for it to cool off for sure! Maybe soon.
Woohoo, Haro got some "out of town" rocks scored for his pond. Way to GOOOOO!
Sissy, you wear me out reading all you do. Go girl!!! I wish I was there to watch you at the flea markets. I sure want to see your bargains you find! My sister says she is wanting to come and go to the Covered Bridge Festival in October with me. We will go for 2 days, and she has never gone, so it will be a great time for sisters! That's where I got my heavy metal heron 2 years ago. Lots of metal art, which I love. And, always find neat items for my boss for Boss' Day in October, since she loves Halloween, too!
