What is your weather like ... today

Pouring here. Hubby told me the other day really cold weather was coming our way. I don't see any sign of that happening in the next couple weeks according to my weather calendar. Somebody is fooling him and I'm glad cuz I need some decent weather to work on my net :cheerful:

Crazy weather- Snow on Tuesday and 60s today! They are calling for another cool down later next week so hubby and I will be out setting up decorations for the next 5 days. Going to be great to work without glasses! Wish I would have done this years ago!

Last chance to save those minnow in the front pond, tomorrow it will really freeze hard. going to drain that pond right now, it is only like 80 gallons, and catch the rest of those minnows. Hubby got moose from some people at work and it is frozen and in the tub defrosting, hubby going to cut it up for the puppies too!!

JW, that guy that owns the house next door is living with his girlfriend till his house is finished. Then he plans on selling it next year.

The small minnow Fish are now all out of the small front pond, and it is drained, just in time cause now it is snowing like crazy!!

It is about 30 degrees and things are starting to freeze now ...

I hope we get no snow here all winter and that the bitter cold does not set .I know ,but bitter cold to me is 25 degrees and just cannot adjust any more to cold weather .But would not want to go farther south ,to many storms and to long a mowing season .I need a rest from all that kind of summer work

Guess that is something to be thankful for. Those of us who get winters get a long rest from yard work.
Rained all freakin day here today. We were out running around grocery shopping and getting supplies to finish my pond net. Going down to the high 30's tonight so won't freeze but not like being in Hawaii either

The last two days our temps have been really nice, in the 40's, I turned on my pump yesterday to clean the pond and then today it started snowing in the afternoon . We now have snow on the ground and I think this weekend we are suppose to get more. Down in the valley it snowed but melted right away. The elevation in the valley is about 2972 and our elevation is 3900. This weekend I really need to take my pump out and clean the waterfall out.

We have a heavy snowfall warning for today, 6 - 8 inches and temperatures down to -4F.
I'll get the fireplace going soon and have lots of indoor activities planned. Cooking, racking wine, working on aquariums.
We made a trip into town yesterday and stocked up on stuff.

foggy out but warm at 50 degrees .I have been online to look the military channel is going to offer the JFK tapes for sale and i really want to get them .They are going to show it all again on tv on the anniversary .It has been 50 years and gosh the high def movies are great and they said that the ones for sale will have some more personal home movies of the Kennedy's that they did not show on tv .I was 10 years old at the time and just remember it all .My dad actually bought our first tv just so wee could see it all .

It's nearly 60 here today, and 24 mph winds ...and I get all 24 mph of that wind here, too! Was going to put up Christmas stuff outside this weekend, but the gutter guy has not come to replace my gutters, so I don't want to do only part of it, and putting stuff out there will only be in his way with ladders. So, I will likely be cussing him when I get to put the stuff out, as this weekend is really warm. The wind is awful, though. Supposed to rain yet today, although only partly cloudy right now, and strong storms still in the prediction for tomorrow, and 27 mph winds. Yuck yuck yuck!!! I will stay inside nice and snuggly warm, love listening and watching storms, and cross stitch! Maybe get a good deal done on the Christmas tree skirt, which is in it's I think 3rd year in the making. I only work on it in the winter, though, and it's VERY time consuming! Probably will take 5 years (winters) to complete like my daughter's did. LOL Not much colder weather the next 5 days, 60's this weekend, then still 50's so very mild for this time of year.

Lots of hail off and on all night and this morning. Made the temporary pond net w/ the tightly woven screen sink down lower in my pond. Now there is rain and sunshine at the same time. I need the sun to win cuz I want to go out and start sewing the pond nets together w/ the fish line I bought yesterday. Come on sunshine you can do it :banana:

Sun is gone here now, so I assume the storms are brewing in the distance. Still very windy, if you like wind chimes, my yard is "singing" right now. :blueflower: My very large metal tube one is ringing out loud and doesn't even have a wind catcher hanging from it.

been cloudy here and still foggy out and humid out ,heavy air .It is 56 degrees out but feels warmer if that is possible .I thought humid air made you cooler ,but went down for the mail and I was sweating ,air just feels heavy and damp .

Sissy hubby just watched a new movie about the Kennedy's on TV, I missed most of it cause I was at work half the day. I want to tape the Kennedy stuff next time it is in TV....

Getting Colder and snowing now, temperature about 30 degrees right now....
