there was the kennedy movie but there was the the one on all the actual tour of Texas tour he took and showed the whole store .It was 3 shows that took 3 hours to watch and that was much better than the actor movie .It even showed Marlyn Monroe singing happy birthday to the president in one of the earlier clips .It was with the real people

Been raining off and on since last night. Got up to 65 yesterday. Currently temp is 46. Going to be getting colder this week again.

CE, hope you don't see any of the severe weather the news was talking about this am. It said Illinois is at high risk for possible tornados.

Sissy I feel asleep early last night, so I have the moving set to tape, next week, so I will watch it then.

It is cold today, currently only 7 degrees (minus 14 c) and I must plug the heater in tonight as lots of the pond has ice now.

If you only plug the heater in when necessary, it saves you big money!!!

Thanks everyone, I was enjoying watch it all unfold. Out of power for an hour, but was on my phone taking pics and reading Facebook posts. Forgot about my good friends on the GPF. Must upload that as a site to watch from now on.
Here are a couple of pics I took toward the end of the storm. BTW, I'm 7 miles south of Altamont. That tornado that hit north of Altamont also hit St. Elmo, which is only about 4 miles west of me. BAD things happened there, sorry to say. Three houses were lost, and a family was huddling under the basement steps as the back half of their house was removed by the storm, along with their barns and a few electric poles. They are safe, waiting to hear about the other families.

I love watching storms brew, and was very thankful NOT to have been put in the path of the tornadoes that ripped through the area. Northern IL also had tornadoes touch down and demolish large areas. Praying for everyone that lost possessions, and hoping no lives were lost.
