OMG, Sissy you should become a do it yourself instructor! You could make a fortune. :blueflower:
My boss said one of the tornadoes that hit in southern IL left an elderly couple dead, both were taken from their home and tossed about outside, how awful! Evidently their daughter and grandkids were there (or maybe grand and great grandkids) and the mom ran outside with her 2 kids and hunkered down in the creek. They survived. I am thankful I have a basement. I have no problem heading down there when a bad storm comes my way.

Glad none of you were in the direct path of those storms!

Colleen it seems some of your cold Canadian air is coming down this way next weekend. Suppose to be highs around 30 and lows in the teens. Burrrrr

Well right now it is getting colder, and no doubt it will get below zero Tonight.... I can feel it comming. So I went out and found a new hat with attached scarf to keep me warm.

Don't go out in hunting season!

64 yesterday, blue sky, got a sun burn, digging holes for some new trees.

We seem to be having a bit of a cold snap. High today should get to -15C/5F, wind chill right now is around -22C/-8F.
This weekend it's supposed to get back above freezing, so that will give me a chance to restock the firewood racks. :)
Bottom pond temperature is staying right around 42F.

Won't be as warm tonight getting down into the 20's. Time to roll the big potted palms and Cordyline's into the garage again. Looks like for the next few days a cooling wave is coming through so now I will have to sit outside in the cooler temps and freeze my arse off sewing that net.
One of my favorite songs for Christmas even tho it's really not a Christmas song. I have a CD that my hubby made for me that every song on it is this same one over and over again. I march through the house singing along w/ it each year while cooking the Christmas feast. I have 2 versions, one from Jona Lewie and the other The Cory Band. My family thinks I'm bonkers

Jelly Bean Android sounds cool Sissy! Is it really small?

I got that Acer Aconic tablet for free too, but was having bad day yesterday and somehow pulled the plug in cord out of the socket during moment of madness and then had to run all over town trying to find a part. Could not find the right part around this town NO How!! Had to go on line and look for part, then had more problems trying to order something off the net.... the story of my life!!! need to get nefew to tutor me and give me computer lessons someday.

Then went to plug in the big 1500 watt cattle trough heater for pond, burnt out suddenly and went ZAP ! :zap: :zap: :zap: Then it Burnt the end of cord too!! I am still alive!!!

Have a new 1200 watt floating green pond heater I am trying, had it for couple years now and got it on sale and never used it, seems to work OK but takes longer to de ice pond, but working good now!

Finished building my new DReam House!

yummy looks delicious!

My honey has the galaxy tab and a nexus tab, the nexus with the quad core processor is way fast. I need a new lappy, this one is slowly dieing, (7-8 yrs old) love the tabs but not for typing, at least for me. I dread buying a win 8 lappy, hear win 8 is a pita.

Both tabs are android, both our phones are android, with jelly bean real easy to use. I find using the tab for the forum is a little tough.
