What is your weather like ... today

Went out today looking for bargains at 2nd hand stores. Found nothing and some were closed as the weather was bad. Dark, dark skies now full of rain. Poured down all last night and into this morning. Wind really picking up and ground is saturated making trees that sway in the wind fall down on power lines. None down around here yet. Hope the power stays on. We have a generator but that doesn't help when the cable tv goes out! Got stuff to watch tonight...............pawn stars and pickers, Revolution and Teen Mom.............I know, I know I'm not a teen but I just can't believe some of the dumb stuff those girls get involved in sometimes!

Thanks Big Lou, CE, glad you like the picture, shot as the sun was going down. The land here is mostly flat, but filled with twisted valleys, and lots of "bad lands" with strange wind blown hills and sharp slopes with natural coal seams exposed. On the other side of the river, the land has strange formations carved by wind and water, will go there some day and get a good picture, when the area is dry, otherwise the slick mud will steal you boot and slide you down the hill.

Gosh it is warm here almost 55 degrees at 11 am .Who turned on the heat :razz:

Currently is 71*F and windy. Very unusual for late November. Usually we have at least a 1" of ice on the lakes and ponds by now with snow on the ground. I'll take the warm weather but we could really use the snow to get the moisture back in the ground.

Sissy, lucky you, all that sun and nice warm weather, don't worry about me, everything freezing good tonight, shoveled the sidewalks several times today. Now it's getting cold (-12c) and I am going to turn up the heat and go to bed and snuggle that cute fat Poppy!!
