Right now 28 degrees f, minis 3 c, Chinook rolled in and warmed things up nicely, it was minus 24c yesterday! So it feels like a nice day to me, cause I already "hardened off" and froze good at the park for Remembrance day, yesterday. Poor guys in the scotish kilts, they were sure cold! I posted pictures of Remembrance day here at Medicine Hat, on my "Ponds in Canada" thread, if anyone interested in how we do "November 11th".

Frost yesterday and this mornings. Only got up to about 44 yesterday. I bet this weather is pushing east, but I hope not all the way to the coast, so our eastern friends can keep boasting about their sunshine and warmth! I was so windy here Fri-Sun, even though it was in the mid 70's and sunny. Got 1.25" rain when the front came through late Sunday and through the night. Wind beat the rain against my windows all night long. But, been sunny last two days, so sure won't complain! Winds are calm today, thankfully, but I have to go to work. Great supper at Red Lobster last night, and the appetizer was free for Veterans! They asked when you came in if anyone in your party was a Veteran, no ID necessary. Very nice. I didn't want to ask if they had any Veteran specials, so it was nice they offered!

We have had a few bad freezes, heavy frost. The plants are still growing and blooming like it is spring (land plants)
