It’s the fakers who hurt the ones who legitimately need their service pets. Yeah, it’s cold here. Our well went out, have to go pull it today, I called around to price a new pump, $700+! Ouch. So maybe we can just fix it or the old one? Murphy’s law is kicking our butts. I had to crack ice on the pool so I could haul water to flush the toilet. I picked a spot away from where the fish hide, but easy for us to haul from. So next warmer day, once we have running water, fish will get a slow trickle of fresh water once the ice is melted.

Shoveled the driveway AGAIN this morning. Looks like I'll get a break tomorrow, but more snow tomorrow night into friday. Looks to be light but could shift north giving us a little more.

Ice covering everything. My car is one solid sheet of ice. Icicles forming everywhere. Glad we stayed home. Roads might be ok, but no reason to take a chance, takes us a hour to get to Baltimore.

Not sure the brand but a plumbing supply house is very useful .Those big box stores carry lower end stuff .Don't know much about jet pumps .Mine is a deep well pump .Best is to look them up on the internet to get ratings .Rain here and was 50 degrees last night until after the rain started at 10 pm and then it dipped down to 41 degrees .Still a steady rain which we need .

I love the look also. It is still coming down, was supposed to be only this am. I would go out and wander the yard and take pics, but too darn miserable. I filled the feeders yesterday so the birds would have snacks, put out peanuts for the squirrels.

Question for every one here has any one had any success with the lotus seeds from other countries .I have 4 dollars left on a gift card with no idea what to buy .I wish I had a clue what I could buy

Yep. That’s the cost at the one store that carries a well pump here. We need the 4” three wire 230v like for a deep well pump, but it’ll only be 20 odd ft deep. The big box stores have cheaper ones with crappy ratings, I won’t waste my money. I read the reviews. Found red lion pumps online, they have what we need for a bit over $300, but it would have to be shipped.

Mine was 4 wires and 240 v .But also got a senior citizen discount .I think the name of the store was fergusons plumbing supply .I know they have plumbing store all over the U.S..I got my bigger pressure tank from them also at the same time

Well, we're in a winter storm watch now for tomorrow night. The system looks to be shifting north and the heaviest part may be right on the edge of where I live. Could see 6" or more, could see 3" or less. 20 miles north or south could make a huge difference.
