Addy I was watching your cameras a bit ago and rain is coming down on your new tub pond. Noticed the camera zooming in and then out. You must be checking the drainage of your newly installed tub pond. Have tv on and watching the coming of the big storm Sandy. Looks like it is going to be bad! Talking on the news right now about Maryland, New Jersey, New York etc. Stay safe and praying for all of you in Sandy's path.

lol I was too lazy to get up and look out the window. Got the thing pretty level, watching to see where it starts to over flow. Hoping it is the side away from the big pond.

We are up to 2 inches now, which we were not to get until tonight, been raining non stop so far. Winds just starting to pick up some.

Still pouring! worse to come, they are closing some of our major bridges. Government closed tomorrow also.

Saying the storm is 1000 miles wide now.

It's starting to get real ugly here. Winds from all directions and the rain is getting very heavy.I'm really hoping the power stays on. Don't want to have to go out in this and rearrange generators.

Yeah, my "new" 1k tank is overflowing on the downslope side, away from the big pond! I am shocked at how level I actually got the sucker, maybe 1/4 inch off level, and the down hill side! YEAH!

Colleen, Her video is up and running, I just went and watched for a bit. Doesn't look that bad right now, some wind and moderate rain is all I see going on at Addy's right now. LOL, I think we are getting more wind than she is way down south. Ours is all cold front coming in though. 20 degrees cooler than it was day before yesterday but still sunny and no rain. Guess I'm pretty thankful. Wishing the best for all those in the storm effected areas.

Hanging in there Colleen, just raining raining raining, the winds come later tonight/tomorrow, most wind so far are gusts up to 28 They may be up to 75 mph.

We are up to 3 inches right now, total rainfall for today. Winds come and go, supposed to be nasty tonight. It has been raining at the rate of 1/2 inch per hour + / - all day. My ponds are getting a real flush job. I need to check the ph in a little, make sure it is not dropping too bad. They are saying 4-6 inches more rain tonight. The 2-4 inches of rain tomorrow. We get periods of intense rain, but no periods of no rain.

mrsclem is in a lot more critical area than we are, the eastern shore is being pounded. 150 feet of the ocean city dock is gone now, streets being flooded.

I'm still here! Power went out at 3pm. Got the small generator set up and ran the cord for the ponds. All 4 pumps up and running by 4pm. Ran a seperate line to the house but will have to alternate as there isn't that much power available. Got back in, dried off and changed and guess what? Power!!!! Going to warm up and give it a little time before going back out to shut down the generator. Wood stove is going so I'm hoping for the best. Everybody hang in there-

Just saw on Dallas CBS 11 News that Oncor Power Maintenance has sent 120 personnel with trucks to Maryland in preparation for downed power poles, lines etc. They should be in place to begin work by Wednesday morning. I understand more power companies and agencies throughout the Southern East & West are gearing up to deploy to the storm areas.

With good reason Hurricane Sandy is dominating our news broadcasts with much extended coverage. So many from so far away have you in their thoughts and prayers. Stay safe and God bless.

Our 6am news is on in the next room so I couldn't hear all that well, but I did hear President Obama saying it was a very bad storm, worst for....didn't catch how many years. From what I did hear, it sounds very bad.

lost contact with my son and cell phone to John down in AC I guess lines are crowded .I am more worried about John and some about my son because he was in Perth Amboy and that it is known for flooding .

Just hope it keeps moving fast and will be gone but the eye was just making land fall .I cannot believe the idiotes that are risking there lives to take a look .Glad everyone is OK so far hang on there is always the calm before the storm ,so be careful .
