Over here in uk you can have it delivered to site by crane on back of lorry .......like photos

yes they are one ton bag of sand

OMG, that's pretty special! I guess I could have gotten things like that delivered from the local lumber yard, but I usually get it from Menards, and it's pick it up and deliver it yourself when you buy from them. That's really cool how they grabbed it to place it in your area, Whiskey!

started by taking down water fall and building first row of blocks with angles.
started also digging out bottom drain to a level , got lots of earth to move and place ........somewhere!

Hi todays finished off sieve footings and started on blocking wheel housing, whilst my wife filled the filter footings with old bricks and rubble.

today completed water wheel bay/housing and almost finished top pond
should complete top pond tomorrow as fine weather staying with us all weekend.

Looking great, Whiskey! You do such a great block laying job. Can't wait to see the water wheel up and running. That and the viewing window! Your fish will be so happy to be in their newly remodeled much larger home.

Did you say complete whiskey?...............oh man that means you are really getting close to the finish line now............keep those pix coming. We are all watching and waiting! Are you gonna put up a big red ribbon when it's finished and then break a bottle of champagne and have a ribbon cutting ceremony? Well ya should for all the work you guys put into it!
