All this good news about you guys and your orders of the fish! Might get some some day, who knows! I only have about 15 fish in my pond now. Had way too many in there before that and think the pond could not handle that many so now I may just allow these that are left and doing great to be in there. Will see how they do for awhile.

Just got home from a race tonight. Went from sitting in 90°F weather at the NASCAR race two weeks ago to freezing at tonight's race. :cold:

Here's a few photos. I'll post more once I go through them.

Photos from the race last night. It was fun, but cold like I said. They had winged and non-winged sprint cars. It was also street stock championship night. And I got to see the IMCA Modifieds for the first time. There was some really good racing, some wrecks, and even some post-race payback. I ended up leaving before the wingless sprints did their feature race because I was too cold and ready to get home, but after watching nearly 5 hours of cars on track I was satisfied with the night. The racing season ends here in two weeks so I don't plan on going back this year but I can't wait to get back there again next year.

decided to replace 2x12 board at bottom of driveway. It's 30+years old and will no longer stop any vehicles from going over the edge! New 6x6 and 2x12 coming next week. Both 20' so having to take down decorative towers at top of yard. Got all the planters moved out, pulled all lumber. Not pulling towers till day of delivery as they hold lights. Have new metal planters ready for next spring for entire front of house and driveway.

@addy1 why is your pond non flowing ?
My intake filter, external pump, fell apart. Sucking in fish, snails etc.

I found an expensive, huge, covering, Webb garden, on Amazon.

Installed now and wonderful flow.

I checked the leaf basket after 24 hours of running no fish no snails sucked in.

Samaritan's Purse DC-8 flew over. It's used for disaster relief. To my understanding this is the only airworthy one in the US, and only 1 of 3 that are airworthy in the world.

Two of these buildings are from the mid 1800's, and one from early 1900's. Two are schools and one is a town hall. They were moved here in 1967 and now sit in between a remnant prairie and a restored prairie.

The neighboring farm field was being worked on.

Well of course you went hiking! You have some of the most interesting spots to visit I must say. My purple Asters are just getting ready to bloom and I love how they wait till almost Fall to do so!

They had loads of asters blooming everywhere! I've got quite a few blooming in my gardens right now too, but I really need to add more eventually.
