Horribly hot here yesterday, AGAIN. But I got the rest of the lilies divided and called it a day. Even the dogs didn't want to go out for long.

Overnight, Missy Owl opted to check out the lilies and I think she snagged one of my new shubbies! That's cool, I adore her anyhow 😎

This summer has been the worst I can remember around here for heat and humidity ! It has taken all the joy out from gardening....even with lots of watering. I'm ready to move NORTH !
They have said one of our hottest. I summer hide, in the house around 10am, walk the pups at 530am.

The heat makes me ill. Stayed out until 11 one morning two days to recover.

I totally get it. AZ was hot but this is so much harder. I'm so glad I get afternoon shade in the back yard, that really allows us to enjoy it for brief sessions.
BTW I hope your little girl is recovered and romping by now :)

She has a follow up xray on the 5th, last xray showed accelerated healing. She is very tired of being controlled.
Good girl, calmer than our teenagers. Pups over 1 yr. We have 6 in their 2 nd yr. Crazy house

Well @Hound Heaven success got me ordering some new genetics, (my excuse).

25 sarrassas, 25 shubunkins. Replace some of the snake eaten fish.

Took advantage of the labor day sale, 20% off. After the weekend, shipped on Tuesday, here Wednesday.

No floaters, a lot of long finned ones. They went for food as soon as released.

Beautiful fish! Let us know how they do. Sounds like you have to order at least 25 at a time eh? Wonder if you can mix up the 25 w/those two types.

And fwiw, my fish are doing great too. Eating, schooling, watching for food and I swear they're growing before my eyes.
I was anxious about ordering but the interaction was really good and I love the result.

I just went and fed, all came running, no floaters. Strange to have a non flowing pond this time of year.

Fish don't care.
