We up to my buds house to hand out candy with a twist. he got in a gilli suit and i was myself in Biker outfit and as the kids came up the fog machine would go off. as i was in a chair on the front porch with a big pot ful of candy and as they kids came in if they didn't say trick or treat when the reached for the candy i would drop the pot and that would be enough to shock most. but my bud in the gilli suit was sitting in the bush next to the stairs to the porch and as the kids came back out he jumped up at them. BOOOOOOOY did he get a few little kids but good and the best as always was the teen girls who screamed and usually left more candy behind then they left with as they were running away .... happy Halloween

Nothing at all in our little hood of 5 homes, too far for them to walk, they all go to the big housing developments. More candy quicker!

Today's the final jump day of the year for the local skydiving company. They don't have the Twin Otter going up today, but the Kodiak is making its rounds. I didn't have my camera at the time but I also just saw a T-6 fly over and then do a big loop!

I built a stratification box with random supplies I had lying around. I have no idea how well it will work but I'd think it would work well. It's sunk halfway into the ground, and filled with a mix of potting soil and garden soil. I have a screen lid, and the bottom has two layers of chicken wire to help deter rodents if they happen to go down that deep. This winter I'll be sowing rows of native seeds in it and hoping for the best next spring. If it's successful it gives me a new way to grow A LOT more natives in a semi-controlled environment before I transplant them into various gardens.

Packed up over 50 indoor and outdoor extension cord, yard stakes and timers. 25 years of holiday decorating inside and out. All getting donated to Habitat. Next is to go thru the totes under basement stairs and see how much more there is. Already donated, sold or threw out over 400 sets of lights!

Put up some of my indoor christmas stuff today. My decorated my mini-tree and put out a couple battery operated light strings. This weekend I'll probably be putting up the rest inside and out.

Sitting on butt waiting for skin graph to heal. Took my eyelid to cover my cheek hole. What a process. Tired of house arrest.

The new Microsoft Flight Simulator came out on Tuesday, so I installed it last night. Comes with a lot of new aircraft including hot air balloons, and also has seasons now, so I can fly over fall colors. I tried the hot air balloon a couple hours ago. Definitely crashed it into the trees 😅
