Beautiful spider! Haven't seen any of those this year. Black widows in my garden hose caddy. Not relocating those.
Went to make sure leaf netting over ponds was secure ahead of this storm. Net on goldfish pond was hanging in the water. Pulled it up to find one of Addys snakes! It must have just gotten in this morning so grabbed the scissors and cut it loose. Ungrateful snake tried to bite me 3 times after I cut it loose. That was the first ( Hopefully last) this year. 4 foot and really fat.

Really fat = momma! Live birth babies!

We have been so dry, I have seen few spiders.

Gosh in the photo it looks huge! 3" for a spider is bigger than any we have around here.
Wonder if it's bite will cause issues? Nice of you to help her and her kids out

No clue on harming a person. Called field spiders.

I walked through miles of Right of ways loaded with those spiders in Maine. on a dew covered morning you could see all the nests and i mean hundreds of the miles after mile. i tried to avoid but found them on me a few times at the end of the day.

We are getting the usual explosion of wood spiders. These guys can spin a 6 foot web in an hour! We call them Crack spiders from the video that was out years ago about the effects of drugs on spiders

Na it was funny. honestly im like the prince song goody to toshoes don't drink don't smoke what do you do. I had fun when i was young now not even a beer maybe a mixed drink at dinner a couple times a year but that's it, I'm done.
now if you had picked on a koi or a dolphin then yea i'd have issues

My sailboat neighbors took me out to watch the start of the race big schooners. Hard to know which group taking off, no motors, sail only, 3 knot Winds. 2 hours to go five miles. They are heading to Norfork, VA. Get there by Saturday. Many categories of boats, different start times, creeping start.

But it was fun to watch.
