@GBBUDD Wow that's really SICK!...................sick being a good thing to say from newer generations than myself (I think it was originally a skateboarding slang to express "shock and awe" after seeing something cool.)

my problem with commiebook is that it is drunk and drugged relatives . Mostly my hubbies side of the family . I jut don't have time for that garbage . I have enough to do . Between adding 74 rolls of r 30 now to my attic . I looked and still think I need 6 more rolls and have to get it done so i can get rebate from Danville utilites. Then I am also sanding 100 foot long front porch and repainting it besides repainting all the trim board on the house . Maintaining a house by yourself is not easy . Got new security cameras and installed them also . Better nigh vision . I still have to set the time and add in the other 4 cameras . Finished insulating the shed . I guess evey one who owns a house knos the work never ends

I like that on Facebook you can choose who you want on your pages. You can block anyone you don't want to see.

You are too busy doing all your hard work around there to bother w/it but it is a nice spot to air current news, weather, family and friend stuff IMO. I just ignore or hide the stuff I don't like on there :)

If your deck is pressure treated and is in the condition i suspect being all cracked and some splinters . There is a tool ,/ machine porta cable makes that is for paint stripping . its a carbide disk its like turning a circular saw on its side and there are two rails that you adjust so you can only remove so much . it not only eats paint but it will eat the wood too. but in doing so ALMOST makes the wood look new. the cost of the machine and the discs will probably be cheaper than orbital pads. if that is what your using. or even belt sander.

You all know how I get into arts & crafts this time of year. Well, I'm trying something new this year: wood burning. I got a super cheap wood burner the other day just to see what I might be able to do with it. I did a few practice sessions and learned quickly how tough it is. You definitely can't hide many mistakes and my shaky hands don't help. :ROFLMAO:

This is the first creation I've made with it: The Rawley Point lighthouse in the Point Beach State Forest. I love the texture it creates, and the slight golden brown edges along each burn. At first I was going to leave it unpainted, but I decided to paint it and I'm so glad I did. It really makes it stand out. I can't see myself doing anything too complicated with it, but I do like the additional design options it gives me.

Some of you may recognize the lighthouse from many photos I've shared of it over the years.

You are really good at all your photo and artwork! @JBtheExplorer
Do you sell them, if not you should!

Thanks! To be honest I don't have the motivation to make them for selling. I usually make five or six things a year for family or myself and then I'm pretty much over it. :ROFLMAO:
