My sailboat neighbors took me out to watch the start of the race big schooners. Hard to know which group taking off, no motors, sail only, 3 knot Winds. 2 hours to go five miles. They are heading to Norfork, VA. Get there by Saturday. Many categories of boats, different start times, creeping start.

But it was fun to watch.View attachment 160768View attachment 160769View attachment 160770View attachment 160771View attachment 160772View attachment 160773

I haven't been able to get out this year as much as I normally do. But Sunday was a nice day, so I went out to the lighthouse.

We are having a nice hit of above 70 weather, sunny.
So attacked the big pond lilies. Still have a few to do.

OMG. Of the 9 pulled out 7 had jumped their pots. They LOVED the heat we had this summer.

I had a friend helping me pull out the huge mass of roots, mud, etc that they make when they jump.

Ex white pants,

My ex bee pants, dropped enough weight way too loose now. Chasing pups keeps you skinny! Fall down as I am mucking in the pond....but the do well for this work.

I've been creating AI generated imagery and it's the funniest thing to me. After some time, I realized that the AI really shines when placing fictional characters into the most random scenarios. For example, here's some of The Grinch.

The Grinch riding a wildebeest

The Grinch eating Trix cereal with the rabbit

Michael Scott meets the Grinch

The Grinch is so happy to meet Santa he begins to cry

And for good measure, Mickey Mouse celebrating Halloween, Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, and New Year all at once.

Wow @addy , those are some monster sized lilies and very healthy !! Is this what happened in one year or are you on an every other year lily grooming plan?

I am so incredibly addicted to the AI image thing.

Now I'm combining two things into one.

I finally got tired of waiting for a volunteer so I moved some rocks and redid my waterfall. THEN I found a new filter on my phone --- please don't warn my dogs!

I'm afraid to ask what is under the pumpkin head.

I stopped at a buddies house the other night and saw a pretty cool Halloween set up. He had a skeleton hanging over a trash can with a black light and water coming out of the mouth . The cool part was it looked like the skeleton was loosing his lunch and the water was died with a highlighter and was glowing under the black light. I may take JAAK MY SKELETON tree stump and set him up but being a spitter or a wee'er sorta speak .

I think we need to see a picture of your buddy's skeleton prop! And of course one of yours when you get it worked out.
Mine is just some alien-zen-frog thingy that I found irresistible.
