Aw crap, that sucks a flat tire, JW. Hope you can get it fixed and you have nice weather tomorrow to go at it again ... um, ride your bikes again!
As usual, I got sidetracked. LOL While expanding the sidewalk, I had to modify the flower bed that was around a well, I used to be able to mow between the sidewalk and that flower bed, but now it was about 2' wide, so angled the "bullet" stones to connect the sidewalk and that flower bed. And, bought small mum plants to put in all my hanging pots, so removed what was left still growing in the pots, and put in the new area expanded from the flower bed. Looks like this now:

Do anything to keep the trimming down .I have been working on that for months now ,used to take me 4 hours or more just to trim and now it is down to an hour .I hate trimming and some parts of the front slope were to hard to get to with the lawn mower and to dangerous

Well woke up to rain today so no bike ride. I'm sure our grass and plants like the rain but hope this isn't the beginning of the end of the shine for us. I will be sorely displeased if it is :grumble:

Sissy, I don't own any type of trimmer, including a push mower. LOL I use Roundup about 4" from all edging, and otherwise my big mower does it all. After we finally got some more rains, I see I need to freshen up the edges with Roundup, but I'm really careful and do more pulling weeds/grass along the edges of the ponds, as I know the Roundup will kill the frogs if they get in it.

Nights are cooling off but the days are still really hot, yesterday got to 90 degrees but this morning is only barely 60! the hot days and cool nights make the Choke Cherries taste better, but after the first frost they taste even sweeter!

After a long weekend of rain rain rain and more rain it finally looks like it's gone for a bit. Very foggy and a pleasant 67 degrees. Took a walk down to the big pond this morning to check the overflow and found a softshell turtle lodged in the overflow pipe. Did my good deed for the day and let him free to swim another day. Looks like a good day to work on the koi pond some.

Maybe a good day to go fishing.............not too hot and not too cold. Bike riding is on hold as had to order a heavy duty inner tube for my bike as they didn't have them on stock at the bike store in town

Well this morning I wore a warm sweatshirt to river cause it felt cool, now its hot 84 degrees in the shade. Made my usual stop at "Timmys" for coffee before I took puppies to river park and there was all these little dead white moths laying everywhere, they get attracted to the light at night from the "drive thru" and Tim Hortons I think.

Wow, that's a bunch of moths!
It's back in the 90's here, but I'm not complaining, as it's getting down to cool 60's at night. No rain since storm last week Thursday, but my grass was really tall and had to sweep some areas. I think the cooler temps up until the last couple of days has helped rejuvenate it! Very green and lush again. I love to mow the grass when it's green and pretty. Looks so nice afterwards. Could use a nice shower again though ...
