I was waiting for you to show up John
What took you so long

Hey if you remember you were supposed to dump it in that truck parked near the U.S/Canadian border............which you failed to do

I'm beginning to think I was being set up. When I finally found the truck, I began shoveling the snow into the back, when a trooper tried to arrest me for "bringing some kinda white powder into the state"! Had to take it all back, and agree not to return for three years. :(

Ya! Get the Pool out!!! It is above freezing right now.... ok barely above freezing and then we got freezing rain all over the walk and steps this morning. Hubby has to drive to Calgary today for his usual Doctor Checkup. I was going to take him but the roads are going to be icy and he has studded tires and they were talking about bad freezing rain in the Strathmore area and roads could close and he might have to stay in Calgary overnight so I have to stay home and care for puppies..

Toasty 35! Got home from Sheriffs to find one ponds pumps off. Think they were off this morning but it was too cold to go down and check. All the rain got to one box and tripped GFI. Ice starting to build on netting.

Lots of wet snow yesterday! Looked out at one point, and realized that the snow had built up on the netting, pulling it away from the bungee cords holding it, and the whole thing had collapsed into the pond. The thin layer of ice made it even harder to pull the net out, snagging it, but I managed to get it sorted out. My gloves were waterlogged, my fingers frozen, and my state of mind wasn't the greatest! :arghh: I had left the net to the last minute, figuring I'd take it off once the pond was frozen over, and the fish safe from predators. Our temps overnight were down around 0 F with the windchill! :cold:

17°F, windchill is much colder. Went for a walk in the woods today but didn't last more than 10 minutes before I headed back. Didn't dress warm enough. Sure is nice roaming the woods this time of year though.Very peaceful because no sane person is out there. ;)

Sadly, another inch of snow tomorrow morning.
