The news is warning about the cold front coming down here, get out your winter coats. It will be a low of 50 high of 70 here on the coast, mid state will have a low of 40 high of 60.
We are going to freeze!

31* this morning, holding all day then dropping to most likely a record low of 10* tonight. Woke up to 3" of snow, again maybe record breaker of 5" by noon.
I hate winter.
On the plus side, I did get pond winterized on Saturday, clean filter, pulled pump, cut plants back and installed small circulating pump for the winter!

The whole ground is white everywhere this morning w/frost. Cold again but still sunny. It will end on Wednesday night as the rain moves back in.

BTW, got 3" of it overnight, and it's STILL coming down! But it's a bit warmer, so turning into slush on the driveway.

They are saying at 10am the cold is going to hit, dramatic drop from 74 to 61..............we are going to freeze!

A warm 27 here this morning. Not the coldest we have had this year but its here to stay I fear. Pond netting cleaned off, lights and misters pulled and new pond breathers and heaters in place ready to go. I still have my filters and pumps running but as soon as there is ice, those will be shut down. Luckily no snow here yet as we have too much running around to do. Someone opened a bank account using hubbies ID!
