Oh Colleen that looks simply miserable. Putting my sweater on now, cuz you made me cold! Whenever we watch ice road truckers I have to put on my sweater too

Wow out mowing and it is down to a cool 80 degrees so looking at that pic really cooled me off .I finished high school before my 15th birthday .Was enrolled in college prep school but dropped out for work .Only regret I had was that I did not have any childhood at all .No toys no friends just worked hard on school work ,housework and farm work plus my dad's wood business .I guess that was why it was so important my son's had friends and toys and fun .Holidays were a big deal with lots of pics and home movies of them .They have good memories .At least I hope they feel they do .

I was a bad kid... got kicked out of school when I was just 16, they took me away and put me in jail. They claimed I tried to burn the school down... I never really tired to burn school down, and I got blamed for a locker fire that I never did... I accidentally started my desk on fire. It really was a accident... Then I joined the army at 21 and made it to Sergeant.

I wish I could say the same, Aaron, but her parents pulled her out of grade 9 to look after her younger siblings. She was 17 when we married.

Right now it is 95 in my living room AC busted and the AC company that we contracted through went out of business in Oklahoma but the corporate office didn't know it so they kept withdrawing their monthly fees out of my account.

I really was just playing with matches, used to like the smell when you blew them out. trouble is one must have smoldered in those old wooden desks we use to have.....

No we are allowed to cancel the contract and they have a guy coming up from Dallas to get us a new compressor at their cost.

I wish. We have two more months of using the AC and we will be mowing until the middle of December. Our actual winter is typically January- February but we can get ice and snow from the first of December until middle of April. One good thing is that when we do get ice or snow, it is usually gone with in 24 hours.

Now see when I read that I think you really have winter from December until the middle of April. In my mind, if it's snowin, it's winter. Although if it dips below 50 it's also winter in my brain...
We made 88 today so it must be fall in the air. Back up to the 90's this weekend though, I think the pond is mostly filled with my sweat and tears at this point.

Sunny here and managed to get most of our very long driveway edged w/ electric edger till the blade went dull
