We know your are stark raving bark at the moon looney Colleen but we still love you and your pond/fish, pups and garden junk and all your lovely video's. You know what I do? I set your video to run and then open up a new separate page on GPF and watch your vids while I read the other posts. It works out great and love seeing them each day. I can't get over those shoes of yours

JW you have a way of making everybody feel so special! ha ha ha I may be a touch "mad" but I am so happy and would not change myself to fit in, I have lots of friends actually, I just goof around and claim I have no friends, but they all come hang out with me by the pond when I have time. Last night my sister and her son came down to visit and have tea by the pond. Couple days ago my best oldest friend Cathy was down with her kid visiting. Then I have another friend Kathy at work who comes down, actually they all came down last summer and we had a party by the pond, and we are planning to do the same again this year! Even the nice muslim ladies I work with at the bakery came to visit and sit by the pond last year and they are deathly afraid of my big dogs, so I kept them in the very back of my big yard and closed the gate to my ponds which are between the two houses. I love my job even though I have to "work to death" cause I actually love all my lady friends at work! We laugh and joke and they were there for me when I thought my hubby was going to die of cancer.
Sometimes it is good to be a touch crazy, it helps you get through life's difficults moments...

Hey where is Sissy? I have not seen here too much on here these days, actually I have never seen her! ha ha ha

great day today is all I can say .As long as I can open my eyes and breathe and hear the sounds of my world i am a happy person .I hope for all people that this feeling is what they get out of living also .

No sunshine today and a bit windy but I hear the sun will come back in full force next week again. Going to be a bit of a rainy weekend I suppose.

We need rain here it has been hot and humid and we get pop up storms that are only thunder and lightening and no rain .I have to fill my barrel and drive around to water my plants

I wouldn't mind a nice rain actually so I don't have to go out and water. Think tomorrow that might just happen. Then it can go back to sun again. Looks like we need to mow again too.

Not to much sun here either right now JW, kinda cloudy but no rain yet and temperture feels just right, I think it is about 70 degrees right now.
Just finished planting a few things here and there that needed annual "fillers" cause stuff died over the winter. Sissy I too am just happy to wake up, smell the fresh air and fresh coffee, and hear the beautiful birds singing in the trees, feels like a jungle right now, so many little birdies singing there beaks off right now! Pond water is clearing of the dark golden color now that catapiller dung is not falling so heavy from the trees. Life is good!

have to mow the edges of the lawn but going to leave the rest go until we get some rain .At least the edges will not look scraggly

80 and sunny here. I heard the air show got cancelled today too so the whole event was a bust. One the bright side, I saw the Blue Angels fly over my house when they left! Sure, they were way up there, but still cool!

I was in WI last weekend, all of my siblings (6 of us) got together and were going to meet at the Air Show on Sunday, but ended up getting together at sister's house instead. Yep, it was cancelled, we were all bummed. Here are a few pics from 3 years ago, with the Thunderbirds. I've never seen the Blue Angels, so was sooo excited about it this year. Guess will have to wait until next time. Last pic is a stunt plant flying just over the water.
I'm no professional photographer, but call me lucky to have gotten these photos, even if they are blurry! Remember, these are jets, and if you blinked, they were GONE!

Been pretty hot and muggy here for the last week, but now only in the 80's and cooler, not as humid. I'm heading to Vegas Baby next week! My daughter is getting married on Tuesday. Supposed to be 104-110 while we are there! Yikes!!! But, as someone mentioned ... "it's a dry heat". Hahahahahaha that's just hilarious, because hot is HOT! I guess maybe I won't sweat as much, or it will dry as soon as I sweat, which will be nice ... right? LOL

I saw the Blue Angels at Milwaukee in 2010. One of the days was fogged out then too. The day I was there one of the jets hit a bird and had to land early.
Saw the Thunderbirds in 2011, and the Black Diamond Jet Team in 2012. Missed out last year. Love watching the airshow on the lake.

Rain and more rain. Another 1.5 inches today and that makes close to 4.5 inches in the last week and expecting more next couple of days. At least it may not rain tomorrow till afternoon so need to get outside in the morning.

Blue Angles have been here a couple times, they are amazing! It crazy how loud those things are when they fly over.
