Sick of Snow.... But More Sick and tired of the COLD! Right Now -11C (12F) but somehow it looks nice today with the pond lights glowing nice. Sun not quite up yet though, hoping that big yellow ball will make this all go away soon!

Saw about a dozen robins yesterday, desperately searching for anything edible. Dumb buggers should have stayed in Florida for another month!

It's been pretty dry here for the last few weeks. I am going to be ready to put new roof on my house in about a week, and you watch, it will start raining and not stop!
Pretty sure the robins are the culprits in my mulch areas. Looks like a little kid stuck a stick in the mulch, then flicked it to the side. All the mulched areas look like they have been "fluffed". LOL Thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Robins! I appreciate it.
Got all of my spring clean up done this evening. Just have my wildflower garden to cut and move the dead stuff from, but tomorrow going to be another nice day. Sure wish I had been off work today! It was 70 and sunny all afternoon. Tomorrow only going to be about 60, but I'll take it.

The flurries we were to get this week turned into 8 inches of blowing snow.
Temps down to -17C/1F last night with windchill down to -21C/-6F
Supposed to get even colder tonight.
I think I saw some above freezing temperatures forecast for the middle of next week.:)

Man, I just don't think I could handle that much cold and snow. I love where I live. Get all the seasons, most often equal amounts of each, and some of everything, including tornadoes, hail, snow, heat and humidity. But, there's always something good about every season. My mom, in AZ, says one day I won't want to be where it gets so cold. Maybe that's true, but where I am is warm compared to you, Mitch! Hoping it starts warming up for you soon.

Thanks CE.:)
This is definitely a colder than usual winter for us.
Not much longer.

Out our front door right now looks exactly like the picture in my avatar.

I'm not talking about the black flexible tubing that is made for ponds, but rather much cheaper sump pump black flexible tubing. So far, no cracks or splits, but after I move the stream line INTO the stream, I won't worry if anything breaks or cracks,.

I think I'll have to look into sump pump hose. Also If I redo my pond I may need to also figure out a way to keep the hose running up into the stream/upper pond rather than burying it. If I can find a way to hide it well enough, that is actually a great idea!

Wow Mitch and I'm complaining! Snow was almost gone at my place and now it's back again. Currently 17F and today hitting a high of 39. Extended forecast next week, day time highs in the mid to high 40's and night temps other then a couple of nights a little above 32.
