Crap. Just got a weather watch for tomorrow evening through tomorrow night. High winds 35-40 mph with gusts 55-60! Coming out of the west, so they are saying high profile vehicles on N/S roads will be impacted the most during that time frame. 100% chance of rain and thunder by 6 a.m., and thunder storms 100% likely all afternoon tomorrow! Guess I won't be taking any early morning pics of the yard with most of the snow gone.

40F/4C tonight. Cold and rainy.
My daughter's wisdom teeth was taken out this morning and she looked like a chipmunk when I picked her up. She's almost back to normal now, the recuperative powers of kids are amazing.

Out of toilet paper this morning and can't believe my wife picked up the cheapest one she could find with the worst quality. I guess I'm gonna to have to visit my mother in law again and quietly switch all her TP.

lol I think she would notice the tp switch............

I installed a ro system in our phoenix house, the water there is horrible hard, leaves spots on everything. Our well in maryland is very very soft, no minerals. The water here in florida is hard, not sure how hard, but it spots if you don't wipe it up.

jw get a pond hard water test, do a quick test (or even some pool or spa test strips) do a quick test of your water hardness see where it hits on the range. Then you will know if you have too many minerals in your water, if so install a ro system, 100 bucks under the sink, cheaper than buying water.

we are in the 50's all week at home then more snow coming next week, chance of snow, dropping back into the 30's.

was 70 outside overnight here and inside our house it was 74 all night - no heat/no cooling.
yesterday it was up to 81 outside!
and today similar again... definitely seems like we have skipped traditional spring - even though our local garden store is now open 7 days a week and announced spring this past weekend!

Too early for planting here! I will be lucky if I can get panzies planted in my big whisky barrel by April here!! Garden centers still not selling much these days except house plants cause the ground up here is still frozen hard.

Hope you are feeling better JW! I don't know too much about kidney stones except my mom once had one years ago and she drank some natural horrid looking fermented thing that looked real gross, and she claimed that took it away and she never had it again. Thank was twenty years ago and I cannot remember exactly what it was, other than it was like a yeasty fermented thing that was in water and looked really gross! :yuck: I think she got a "starter" from her friend and then she "grew" her own fermented thing. I should ask her what that was... I also drink ozonated purified reverse osmosis water water too that is now a "high PH" cause the high PH is somehow supposed to help prevent cancer and my arthritis too, they say, so I switched to that for me and the hubby. It also does not leave any hard water build up on my coffee pot even though it is a higher PH cause it has been purified of those minerals. Hang in there JW, hope you find out what is causing it! 50 here today but breezy. Ponds are both turning green! I was shocked to see things growing after the cold weather this year.
