Got an outdoor mouser myself who is currently in the heated garage with the dog because it is 0F outside right now. He gets to come in when its this cold out. No litter box though so he better hold it till morning! So far so good but I may be pushing my luck. Our Australian shepard is always in the garage, even with all that fur she wants to be in!
I am ready for it to warm up!

Power back on thank goodness!! Was going to drag out the generator but last time I used a brand new generator, it never worked again and hubby had to get new generator.... Hubby was going to drive time from Brooks (where he works a hour away) and come home to get it running, but now everything OK and the pumps all running again!!

Never was too worried about the greenhouse cause the candles can keep that above freezing as it is not too cold. I think what happened is somebody ran into a power pole downtown cause my friend told me she just drove by the Library and there was flashing lights and EMS everywhere! It has been snowing and with the warmer temperature the roads ice over so somebody most likely slid into the power pole. I should find out tomorrow it should be in the paper.

Dense dense fog last night, government closed today, snow coming, before 2p is what they are saying. 3-5 inches. Their prediction of 1-4 ended up being 9 so we will see.

So honey home again. The last time (last year) snow was predicted to hit around home rush hour, it hit, just two inches or so, it took some 8 hours to get home, they are smarter now.

It has been snowing since yesterday afternoon and we now have 7 1/2 to 8 inches of snow on the back deck :(. Temps have also warmed up, we are at 13.1 degrees.

This is a fast moving snow dump storm, saying going to drop an inch of snow an hour. That is what happened sunday, it poured snow for hours. Had a 1/2 inch on the road in the 20 minutes it took me to get home (it started snowing when, of course, I was one mile away walking.
I could hear trees falling in our woods while I was out taking pictures.
