We are up to 41F yay! No more freezing weather. Ice still hangs on the pond but slowly melting. I may even go for a walk today but I need some extra energy also. On a liquid diet again cuz of that darn Diverticulitis stuff. Getting better each moment so I'll be back on the real food by dinnertime............at least some of my hubby's comforting turkey soup anyways

we never had candy when we were growing up so really never missed it .My brother became a diabetic also ,He passed away a couple of years ago ,before he was even 60 .I think my mom was surprised by the doctor when he told her .No one in her family that we knew of were diabetic .I was ten when she was told .Back then they did not know as much about it as they do today .They just blamed it on sugar you used and my mom did not even use sugar in her coffee .She liked it black

Starved to death!! I was so hungry and I just got back from texting you guys at the park, in the dark, sun sets at 4:30 these days. I stopped for a quick sub and wolfed it down in two or three bites!! Was going to take pictures cause it was so very nice, but it was dark already, and the puppies were running around like mad, enjoying the Chinook while it lasts! Right now we are just around freezing, 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I really could use a nice cup of coffee right now, maybe I shall make quick pot and then put the rest in my thermos for morning, should stay hot all night without cooking!

I'm with you, Colleen, this is my place to enjoy my pond friends, even though we don't talk face to face, I sure feel like I know you all!
Now, Colleen, when in the world did you do that video of your pond plants! It was great, and I had to laugh, as your voice is NOT how I figured you would sound. Isn't that funny? I like that I know what some of you look like, or have seen pics in the past, as otherwise I congure up my own idea of what people look like. LOL Your voice was so soothing, and I loved your accent, and you sounded like you were on the Home and Garden network tv! Great job.
Glad you're on the mend, JW, and Sissy is too tough to get sick! And she needs energy? Geesh, you're still running around outside getting things done, and the rest of us are sitting inside with snow or frozen ground outside envying you and your green yard, I suspect!
Getting down to maybe 5 degrees tonight! Yikes!!! Outside dogs get to sleep in the garage tonight, as it's insulated and usually stays above 40. That's sure a lot warmer than 5. Brrrrrr .... Will put their dog beds out there for them to lay on instead of the cold concrete. They will be snug as a bug!

I am so glad you liked it CE!! Funny how we invent pictures of people in our heads to match the "typing" I think we all do it, and then I go and discover U-Tube, nefew showed me a few things, and BAM! all of your visions of me in your head change! I think JW said on my the thread that it was "shocking" to hear my voice for the first time! Somehow she pictured me totally different! Ha ha ha, I love all your comments!! I posted more videos on my thread "Ponds in Canada"... :) :) :)
