Addy, much longer playing in the snow and your little pup might turn into a little snow ball.

You might not enjoy all that snow but your snowy pics are sure pretty.

Have food, heat, company, just beautiful. No need to go anywhere. Keep throwing out food for the birdies that eat on the ground, others have two very full feeders to munch on.

They are calling for freezing rain then rain then maybe more snow. It will prob melt tomorrow Our snow is usually gone within a few days of falling.

Sissy I have a hair dryer just for her, don't use one myself

lol they are enjoying it, the white out just stopped a bit ago. By the weather map there is more to come

raining here stop and start , but trees have ice branches and a little ice on the wires .But road surface is to warm yet after the couple of days of warm weather .

I did not think it would stick, but it started sticking from the moment it started falling. I had trouble making it back home with missy, roads were so slick.

I put all sunflower seeds in one of them, they inhale those suckers. Those are the feeders that hold 20 lbs of seed, took them a month to empty the two feeders, of almost 40 lbs of seed.

Got a light dusting of snow this morning and then sun came out and has been out most of the day . 13F and heading to a low of 3 F tonight. Bottom of pond is up to 37.5 .

9 inches of snow, then sleet all night, now the snow has a nice ice cap on it. Will pull the tractor out today to push the snow off our drive, all 200 feet of it, more snow coming tomorrow.

All schools around here called off school for today! I thought, WTH???? I noticed nothing, heard nothing. But, evidently it DID freezing rain yesterday late afternoon. Nothing on my road out front, so I would have driven my car today, thinking the roads would have melted off by today with the brightness yesterday, and mid 20's for temps. Glad I saw school closings, evidently country roads and others are covered in ice, or that's what they say anyhow. These are schools that had school last Thurs. and Fri when they were predicting 5-8" of snow ... which amounted to only 1-2" in our area. They were smart. South of Effingham, they all got out of school Thurs. and noon, and those schools out today, too!

Wifey back to work. Schools closed. In thaw during day, refreeze at night cycle. Garbage pick up. Yea!

mid to high 40's all week and all we got was rain and it froze to the trees and that was it ,Son said no problems on the roads all the way to work and coming home .He works out near Patrick Henry college .

27F here. My pond has never been especially clear, but the cold weather seems to have clarified the water. I was able to spot all 14 of the koi. Half the pond is covered in ice and the other open.
