That old car has been there for at least 30 years!! It is my hubby's first car and he refuses to get rid of it!! Every now and then somebody demands to buy it, or the old tractor from the old farmstead, hubby won't sell it for no price!! Many potential buyers walk away mad.... If I had my way it would be gone and I would have the garden there!!!

Saw another Sun Dog in the sky, that is a reflection of the actual sun, sometimes you can see two big clear Sun Dogs on a really cold day. Sun Dogs mean the weather may change. You probally never see Sun Dogs down south, as it has to be really cold before you can see them.

I got a picture of the puppies at the park today, they only stayed outside for five minutes, just to make a pee and a poo, and then they quickly hopped back inside the warm truck.

In some of these pictures you can see a small "Sun Dog" off to the left, it looks like a little sun shining threw the clouds... just above the tree line.

Lou, your wife's grocery shopping trip sounded so yummy, when you described all the items cooked to perfection!
Colleen, I see sun dogs here a lot, and not always during the winter. Have you ever noticed that if you have sun glasses on, they are brighter, more colorful, and if you take off your sunglasses, you can still see them, but not as colorful? I'm not sure what causes a sun dog, but I love spotting them! Since I drive west on my way home, that is usually when I spot them, so I think they appear more often in the evening, at sunset. Here is what Wikipedia has to say about them, and OMG, the pic that is on this page is unbelievable. I've surely never seen one on both sides of the sun at the same time!

Light snow here, finally started around 7 p.m. Pretty sure they have totally missed the 5-8" forecast. My guess is we will have 2-4" max, which is fine with me! I'd like some sunshine in the next few days to go with the bitter temps. We shall see...

CE I have seen very bright sun dogs on both sides of the sun on many very cold days, the other day I seen two! Today was a bit cloudy, but like I said, they happen here every winter and the wide open prairies can give you a really good view. I shall see what the Sun Dogs look like tomorrow, hopefully they are back, cause they mean a change from this horrible cold!!!

Just got back from a jewelry party with some of the lady friends from work, they got me drunk with red wine and then I spent too much money on myself to look extra good for Christmas party with the hubby next weekend!!! :)

-16 Fahrenheit, going down to -21 Fahrenheit by morning!! eek!! Wine makes me feel wsrm and fussy.... ha ha ha :)
