57.4 was the high here, darn hot............... was ready to put my shorts on. Clementis is growing new leaves, flower buds coming out, some of my small trees are starting to bud again. We need cold that hits and stays.

Supposed to get snow from 3-5 inches with frozen mix on friday. Today it got up to 60!

Right now we are at -4 Fahrenheit, (-20c) Going down to -12 Fahrenheit (-24c), colder than you Mitch right now!! Where is the nice warm Chinook Arch!! All I saw today was two sundogs in the sky, could indicate change of weather in three days!!

Ponds are ICE Cold and there is breather holes open in all three connecting ponds.

Actually that weather banner is for Sundre which is 50 km north of me.
We're only -21 here right now.
I was thinkng of putting on my shorts too, like addy. :surfing:

A pipe under our water tank decided to split in the night, so we had no water last night and today until I could get out and get some replacement parts. The roads had snow up to my truck's axles. My poor truck did not like that!
I got it fixed though.
Good thing we have a big freshwater aquarium so we could keep the toilets working! :biggrin:

It was 66 while I was driving home in the dark at 5 after work! Unbelievable! I stayed outside enjoying the warmth for an hour longer than normal. Truck is ready for my trek to work tomorrow, expecting the bad crap to show up mid afternoon. If it looks like ice, I'll head home early. No need getting in a slide out with other drivers if I can go home early! right now, they are calling for it to run Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon, 5-8" possible snow, with ice, sleet, freezing rain in the mix. We are on the line of all those temps colliding, so it should be ... exciting! NOT! I'll have my camera ready if there are pretty ice sculptures, though, you can count on that! Here are a couple from the ice storm in Feb., 2011.

Just looked at latest forecast, and we are going from our high today of 66 down to low of 8 that they are predicting for Fri. night. That's a 60 degree temp drop in 48 hours. I don't know that I have ever experienced that kind of a change.

I am restless, can't relax, fretting cause this is the first season running this 1250 watt heater instead of the bigger 1500 watt, and tonight supposed to get colder. If your never sure, GET OUT and CHECK..!

If you ever are outside in a -71f snow blizzard you won't remember it 'cause you'll be frozen. Frozen sounds less grusome than dead which is what you'll be.
