Wow, such gorgeous snow pics folks! I love them. Mitch, you truly have a winter wonderland there in the mountains where you live. On a dead end road, you sure don't have to worry about getting out too soon after a big snow, but seems that's just perfectly fine with you and your wife. Snuggle in front of a nice warm fire and enjoy the scenery! Colleen, kudos to you for making it in to work.
OK, seems many of us are in for this cold front that is going to turn our lives upside down, temperaturewise anyhow! 60's today ... 60 degrees for goodness sake! OK, I wanted warmer than 20, but 60 is a little overkill. LOL If it would just even out and stay put, like maybe 50 and 30's? But, nope, we like many of the rest of you are going to experience yet one more day of warm, (66 tomorrow!!!) then bottom dropping out, temps dropping over 40 degrees in 24 hours, and another 10 degrees the next 24 hours! I live just south of Interstate 70, which tends to track weather systems west to east. This next storm is supposed to deposit rain, then snow, then sleet and freezing rain, then more snow all in about 36 hours time, starting Thurs. afternoon, or so they are saying today. Tomorrow, it may all change. So, looks like my beloved Charger will get to go for a ride again tomorrow, but not on Thursday, won't take a chance of sliding around on any snow or ice. The truck will come out of hibernation on Thursday morning, and I'll be getting 4 new sand bags put in the bed for added weight.
Be safe, everyone!
