Ok hubby figured it out...................by getting the book it came with and actually reading it. If you push and hold the clock button in for 5 secs it will go off and stay off. If you push it in again for 5 secs it will come on and stay on. Guess we must have pushed it in for 5 secs somehow or another and it went off. The little book that came w/ the stove gave us the answer but it's much more fun to try and figure it out yourself for 3 hours!

But why would they have it do that cuz why would you not want the clock to not show up? Hubby said maybe some people like total darkness. NOOOOOOOOOOO, they would not make a rule for those kinds of people I'm thinking!

you have to pay or do it your self lou so a no win .Jw for things like that i go to you tube and most times you can repair it your self .I put in the brand and year and what needs repaired and it tells you and shows you how to do it .Thats how I found out my codes on my truck meant and how to fix it .Mass flow needed cleaned and the flapper at the other end had gunk on it and needed cleaned .2 different spray cleaners and done and garage want 190 dollars to do it .Code light reset and done .
Honey bought a jeep grand cherokee off craigs list, 300 bucks. The poor guy had a hydraulic leak in the power steering hose, he wrapped it with tape it still leaked, he wrapped a towel around the hose to catch the leak. Well then the towel got wrapped up in the belts ripped them off. So now we have a nice jeep, for the cost of a hose, belt and a tow to our house (60 bucks) My honey had it fixed in one day.

The guy was given a price of 1000 to fix it.

What a Good deal Addy! Nice that your hubby is handy with vehicles, my hubby fixes his own vehicles too, but we never got that good a deal, you are very lucky to find that jeep!

Good Grief it is cold this morning!!! Currently minis 12 Celsius or 10 Fahrenheit, your choice, equally cold no matter how you look at it! Although it could be much more colder, not much ice on big ponds yet, but I am sure the water is ice cold!!

We should get above freezing this afternoon, so after work I will take the plants out from one side of the greenhouse and double the plastic on the walls and ceiling and get that one side all nice and cosy. Right now the one side still has ony one plastic on the roof, so I put a blanket over that side of the roof last night and that made it much warmer and stops the roof from condensation dripping water. I will get it all warm and snug again before the really cold temperatures get here! Too many succlents this year and running out of room, maybe next year I will tear it down and make it bigger....

Went shopping at the mall with my mom last night, got new cloths and my mom got a new hair cut. I have not been to the mall shopping for quite a long time, but the cold weather got me out and walking around shopping inside the mall with my mom. Had a good time, we had a nice supper their too, fresh Hawaiian chicken stir fry with lots of vegetables from Edo, some Japanese dish.

Rainy here, 50's and 60's next few days, and rain. That's ok with me! Can't do anything after work, as it's dark by time I get home, but oh what beautiful sunsets I will get to see going home from work now for a while!
Colleen, I think next year you will need to repot and sell/give away some of your over abundance of succulents. I have a plant that I bring inside each year, then wondered if the succulents would also survive winter. So, put some in the ground, and brought the pot inside. It's a beautiful succulent, but when I bought it, I wanted to bring the planter inside for winter, and the lady said these would do well inside. I guess some prefer to be left outside to freeze. :)

Rainy and 41F. Rolling the plants out of the garage again..............in and out all winter long. Trying to buy net for my pond now. Radio does not work on a particular heron that has been visiting lately. Temporary net on right now but ordering the one addy has on hers and it will stay on all the time and radio will go off. Radio lasted keeping heron away for a couple yrs anyways at least that's what I thought. This bird could care less, he just wanted those fish but ha ha he didn't get any cuz he hadn't figured out how to get in yet w/ my fence and junk around it but it would have only been a matter of time before he found a way in I think so not taking any chances w/ my babies!

Rain all day today here. Mist, rain, mist, rain. But it is 56 degrees. Colder for the next couple days. Highs only in the upper 40s.

Pond is full. I do not have a definite overflow area. Something I need to work on next spring. Some edges have settled and I need to redo some areas. Right now I think it slowly leaks out in several spots but rocks there so fish getting out shouldn't be an issue.

I have all my edges of my ponds built up and secured tight with landscaping ties hiding under the liner, then glued rocks to edges with Great Stuff BIG GAP flller all around, so you can walk right next to pond and that path is pounded in good over the years. The excess water drains from the bottom pond overflow area to a big tree. No one knows for sure how it is built up but me! I can walk on all my edges and lean over with no fear of pond falling appart, its all very well built (all by me) and I hammered those landscaping ties with really big five inch spikes and screws. The top pond has not changed for at least 16 years maybe, can't remember that far back for sure, and it is still as strong as the day I made it, and I can still walk on the top built up framed edges to reach things up high above the pond. Those pre-treated land scaping ties sit above ground and the liner goes over the top, with another landscaping tie over the liner to hold it in place tight. I would never make a pond anymore without a good built up edge base and overflow, like I first did years ago, cause they slip and slide way too much. After twenty some years I think I almost have it all figured out... but there are always things I want to improve, that NEVER changes!

OMG How I miss Summer!!!!!!

You did do a wonderful job on making it all secure and it looks great too! Looks like you don't have anything to mow back there either.
