Finally home from the hospital after doing battle with a 6mm kidney stone. Had to have it blasted in surgery. I've never in my life been in that much pain. Morphine wasn't helping the pain so they gave me tordal, fentenal and hyrdpmorphon in a med pump.

Oh ma ma, you poor thing and I know exactly how you feel! Had a few of those and the first one was the worst. I thought I was dieing and I did not know what was wrong. Waited all day in pain for it to go away and then I finally had to go to the er. I feel so sorry for you as it is worse than childbirth! They did not have to blast mine tho. It came out in the hospital after they gave me pain meds. Went home feeling really good,too good and passed out on the couch and my hubby could not revive me. Had to call the hospital. They gave me too much pain meds. I took none of the pills they sent me home with either. Hope for you it does not happen again. I was told not to eat peanuts especially which I had been buying at Costco in the jugs and eating them each night for a snack. Lots of calcium oxalate in nuts and my stone was made from calcium oxalate. Have one more appt w/ my uro doc this month to get an xray to see if any more are forming. Have not had any problems in a couple yrs now. Wishing you don't have any more either!

never had one but heard it was as bad as giving birth ,but at least after giving birth you had a great gift .Well until they became teenagers . :cheerful:

well he has to go for an ecg of his heart his blood pressure is up and he has shortness of breath .How many remember these ranges and it is like brand new and range part pulls out for cook top.pic is fuzzy and got gas for the truck .Went out to pond and found more baby fish

Hubby raked leaves two days ago and you couldn't tell by looking at our yard today. Glad I bought a tighter weave net for the pond to use during this time of year.

So yesterday I fills up me pond. And whadayaknow? It rains heavily this morning. It never fails. They should send me to somewhere there's a drought, have me fill up a pond, and hey presto, there will be rain the next day.
