I want to post some storm photos!!! Wait, I need to have a storm, and that means rain, and we have not seen near enough of that for well over a month now. Sure glad it's not mid June, saying that, like last year! At least the corn is going to make a bumper crop this year, tallest I've seen in many years. Nothing surprising to see 10' corn in the fields this year.

Looks great, Colleen. But, I have to ask, why did you put one foot one way, the other opposite? But, then, you never do anything like everyone else, you do it the "Colleen Way". You are putting a lot of time and effort into your new cobbled stone walkway, and it looks great!

Today temp is 80, light wind and really nice sitting in the shade. Cutting the grass around the pond and taking a break. It has been pretty smokey here due to a fire in Idaho and one in Lolo witch is about 100 miles from us. Yesterday we had a big down pour in town but not much of one where I live and I only live 9 miles out of town. Blue blue sky today and the mountains aren't as hazy . Congrats JW on your daughters wedding!

,JW, can't wait to see what kind of rock mosaic you build, so much can be done with rocks! Dress any tired bed with a few well placed rocks, or beat your very own rock pathway! Hubby still tries to make me conform and obey, ha ha ha, he likes to gently remind me I "promised to obey"! Ha ha ha! I will Get Right on that!

So then I confessed tonight to my hubby that I have had a 24 year "love affair"!! ..... with the rocks! Ha ha ha, poor guy sat outside all night and watched me "pound rocks", then I put him to bed hungry with the puppies! But he still Loves Me!!

MyPond, it was Smokey here yesterday, then we saw this black cloud coming, and we thought it was a smoky haze, but turned out to be a little thunderstorm!

Going to be in the 90's here all week, was another beautiful day to enjoy the ponds!

Its really a nice morning, 62F. Sitting out by the pond and enjoying the relaxing sound of the waterfall. I don't have a bug free area like Colleen but I don't need one cause I have my bat . I found my disabled fish in the skimmer last night. It is one of the first koi that I bought when I started my pond. It made it thru the winter and come spring its back became deformed. It's a good eater but it has it's issues. It has been thru two winters .

Bugs here too are long gone now except the wasps... If it is not one bug then it is another!! Spiders are trying to invade my bug free zone!! I hose down the floor of padio and got rid most of them for now .....

great here this morning and been doing my checklist .Remowed the lawn lower so my son can see the chihuahua's in the back yard until I get back .He won't use the ride on mower and took the push mower over to the other house and an edge trimmer .Heavy dew on the lawn so when I get back going to reseed and put down dap fertilizer to get a good root fertilizing done to it .Packed and truck gassed up .Gonna leave really early so I can stop in Asheville NC and eat lunch since check in at the hotel is not until 4 pm .Takes less than 5 hours to get to Cherokee .Laptop and camera ready to go also .
