No need to worry. Those two can were clean as could be when we took them out of Cathy's parents trash back in 1979. My dear mother-in-law was fastidious about washing all of her cans before throwing them away. :)

I thought for sure today we would get rain and thunder, just spit a little rain and that was it! It has been very HOT these lazy days of August, going to make a coffee, had to work really early today and last night I was up too late enjoying the pond lights. Finished the padio for now, will play with the cement blocks some more tomorrow and get more flat river stone to make a cobbled path now.... one project after another! Todays high should get to 91 degrees, I think it is 87 degrees right now. The fish were spashing up water cause I forgot to feed them this morning and they were mad, said they would tell Dad! So I gave them lots of doggy food and that made then very happy!

oh those big red flowers hanging off the fence in two pots are Dragon wing Begonas that I saved from last year, they sure grew well. All I did was cut the tops off in the fall and stored the pots in a cool place in my green house and it came back so nice this year!

Wow Colleen can you come to my yard and create a lovely place for me to enjoy just like yours? You should be an out-terior decorator. I love all the creative ways you have made your little patio place so comfy and neat looking! The red you have going on there would look really nice w/ my dark house colors :cheerful:

Colleen, that is gorgeous what you did! I love the curved top window frame you have attached to the fence. Wondering if those 2 pots are suspended from the frame maybe? I'd like to see a close up of it and the pots. Where did you find that frame? Looks like it has a glass top in it with a design. Very pretty! I love stuff like that, reused for other neat projects. And, where is your pond from this fenced in patio area? I'm having a hard time figuring that out, but love the red cushions on your chairs and would love to have some of that hornwort. I've never seen any like that around here. Maybe it just grows much better and fuller in the pond than what I see at pet stores. It's great! I bought some aquarium plants and tossed them into the goldfish pond. We shall see if they make it through the winter, and multiply next year. Seems stuff like that takes a year or so to set it roots really well and then take off.
