Was a pleasant enough day. Did not get much done. Failure to find motivation.

Hi everyone :wave: it's been a while! It's been nice this last week or so, low humidity, but today it made up for it good ol' Indiana weather lol. And it looks like we're getting your storm Colleen, just started an hour ago. The Ohio River is close to flood stage and they issued a flood warning today. But Hopefully it stops by morning because our church is hosting church services, down at the river front, to close off the the last day of the Shriners Festival. It will be the first time our city has allowed a church to hold church services on the river front! So wish us luck!

Well it rained again!! Nothing too dramatic, except now the creek has risen cause of all the rain in the area. I heard about lots of different flooding issues today, not just me I see!

My front flower beds look great, dispite last nights quick flash flood. It is hard to tell there was a flood at all! Except, one of my old buffalo bones washed away and I found it down the street, on the neighbors yard. Some of my wood chips got washed away, but the rocks seem to have held everything together nice!

The heavy rain also freshened up the pond nice too!!

Umm ... I don't have any yellow lilies! So, either they are the Georgia Peach, which is a combination of yellow, light pink, peach, or maybe you're talking about the Water Fringe, if I sent you some of that? Is it a tiny yellow flower with fringed edges to the petals? If so, that's water fringe. I only had white, pink, dark pink and GA Peach, can't remember what I sent to you! If you have a yellow lily, I want one next year! LOL that's one color I've never had in lily ... yet! Glad the plants are doing well. Mine from you are doing great, too!

we have had really bad storms also and weather keeps telling us they are past us but last night was bad again .Got my mowing done but had to wait until the hottest part of the day to do it so it was dry and put an SPF of 35 and still got burned

Rain,Rain,Rain!!! Temp is 72F. Rain in downpours and then showers and then sprinkles....... I think this is the 4th day straight with rain. Yesterday and Today has been constant. My dad had 3" in his raingauge from yesterday. Where is my sunshine?

it has been over a week and just about everyday one bad storm with heavy rains and lots of wind and sprinkling out now and dark clouds coming over again

Sounds like my weather last weekend. Five days in a row of rain, but the difference was I never got any high winds, and mostly straight down rain, too. Probably had 4" total, and ground is still very wet and squishy, but not much rain now for the last 5 days, just maybe 1/8" on a few little showers. Been heavy downpours yesterday, but they all missed me. :banana:
Sun been out all day. My indoor/outdoor temp says it's 101 outside, and I know that's wrong. Got a new set, same as old one, inside control had been dropped too many times LED screen was all messed up. But, I didn't go ahead and replace the outside control, so I guess I need to do that after all. Weather.com says its 86 outside, which is more what I thought it was. Humid, though.

You are allowed to keep the sunshine as long as you can, JW! You don't get near enough of it, so we won't try to steal it back. Wait, I have sunshine, too, so you didn't steal mine. :blueflower: Heading outside to pull weeds in the garden. Will pull very easy, just pretty hot and steamy out there. Will take lots of cold water ....

You didn't?!? :huh: Well where the heck did I get a yellow one?! Lol. Hmmmm. I did have those two tiny ones, but they have never bloomed. Well whata ya know I guess that means my plants are happy!

well this time heavy rain came and drove me indoors again
