It is our nature to look for things to blame the weather on. By and large most are false.

A more accurate term to describe what is happening with the weather is climate change. Although the earth has been gifted with a very stable weather pattern for a long time it is not the norm.

Fear mongers will tell you man has caused climate change which is false. Climate change is a natural function of the earth. Worst case is we may have accelerated it to some degree and doubt they are sure about that.

It has me wondering if the 10+ year drought in my area is simply our new climate. In some 20 or 30 years we will know.

Nice warm sunshine shining down on us here today. Will be in the 70's and very pleasant, not too hot and not too cold. You can have the 80's Colleen cuz then I don't feel like moving much especially if the humidity is high.

Gosh it's 68F here right now Colleen and feels warm but then no wind is blowing and the sun is shining. I went for a bike ride up to the Navy base and back and then laid down in the warmth of the sun for a few minutes and I got so warm I had to head for the shade where I fell asleep for a bit on the front porch w/ radio blasting by the pond, hubby riding by on mower and did not bother me one bit. I got up so early this morning at 5am for some reason. I think it got up in the 70's earlier when I was bike riding. Don't worry your warmth will come and then you will say "It's too hot now, turn on the A.C " :blueflower:

Have not used the air conditioner at all yet, no need! I think I was feeling cold cause I was tired, work is depressing these days, one of the some supervisors are quitting and cranky, the other is very cranky cause no body wants to take the job, it is too much stress and it would only pay some of us an extra 50 cents a hour for ten times the stress. Then a strike is looming, that makes them more cranky cause they are not union and will have to work all by themselves if we strike.

Hubby home from work and so happy to be alive, my bright spot of love and joy, puppies are snuggling him on couch, and I have the day off tomorrow!! :)

This is hoping the strike does not come. Does the rank and file have to vote for the strike to happen ?

Hope Lou is OK.

Raining cats and dogs here if the radar is right it will not last long. Looks like KS is getting much more.

Yes, Howard, we have to vote twice for a strike, which may happen very soon, but I hope they settle the agreement so we don't have to strike, cause I won't cross a picket line.

Weather here is still cool, currently only 54 degrees, should get to 70 degrees later today....
Next week we should have warmer weather, fingers crossed!

Starting out cloudy here but the sun promises to show his face soon. Looks like a nice day for another bike ride. Foot hurts on top so gotta chill on the walking for awhile.
I vote for no strike Colleen!

We scored 1/2 an inch last night which I am thankful for. No hail. It was overcast in the morning but it looks like it is clearing. Temp is nice just hit 80F.

A young couple lives in the house next to us. Both nice kids. Her grandfather stopped by looking for tomato plants but we gave the last away about a week ago. We talked ponds and gardening for over an hour. Everyone you meet here seems to be related to or connected with other people you know. That part is kind of fun.
