Thanks CE, she is giving an offer for the house tomorrow. The bridge collapse was May 23rd and they are going to have it fixed next week temporarily till they can build a new one. Will be good to be able to cross over w/o waiting forever in bumper to bumper traffic thru the town and all the stop lights.

Hope none of you guys really get any of those awful tornado's! We will be having rain for the next several days, ho hum.

MTPond, better be careful going around without a top on! Seems like everyone is getting convertibles, or at least I'm seeing lots of tops down this time of year. My nephew and his wife had just bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler, with soft top. I would NEVER own one. You can not ever lock the vehicle, even with the top up! All it takes is someone to unvelcro and unzip the back windows, and voila, you are inside. I guess I want to know I have the option of shopping at more than one place at a time. Bet they won't like it in the future just for that reason. But, so far they love it, and have had Jeeps before, both of them. Just not for me.

Two bathrooms done and she decided to get new toilets .I remodeled my other sister in laws kitchen 5 years ago .Took out a wall to open the house up and put in a header since it was a load baring wall and put in recessed cans and refaced the cabinets and made new doors and put in new back splash ,counter tops and built an island and new flooring .Helped them build a new screen porch from my design .They wished they had me down here when the kids were little because now instead of a formal living room and dining room and kitchen they have one big room .I told them no more it is getting to be to much for me .I love to make people happy but it is getting to be a lot on me .I want a screened in porch but will never get to it .I do spend most of what ever time I have on my front porch .Puddles missed me today

Good luck with the house for your sister JW! I have been busy lately, was going to put up this nice gazebo for by the pond, that I got brand new and dirt cheap last fall, but it is way too big for my back yard so I gave it to the lady across the street who has cancer but it is in remission right now. She can use it with her children and she was very happy to get it as she is not well off, and I was very happy to give it to her.

The weather here has been cool lately, below normal temperatures for our spring, and it rained the other day too. Right now we are in the 50's and it should get to 70 later today.

The sun rises very early, around 5 am these days and does not set till after 9:30 pm, but does not get real dark till after 1030pm.

I made a padio out of dark grey concrete slabs, 50 pounds a piece, but it is lighter than the 100 pound slabs I used last year for the front walk way at least! I got a nice big net that goes over my unbrella, and it works good at keeps the caterpillers out!

Send some bad weather here, I need some excitement in my life these days.... ha ha ha! We rarely get any tornatos, once every five years or so we might get a small funnel cloud that very rarely touches down, and makes major news, splashed all over the local newspaper front page!

I should not speak so carelessly..... a hundred years ago the little town of Redcliff, which is five miles away, used to be bigger than Medicine Hat at one time, but a cyclone came and wiped that town out a long time ago, so it could happen here too.... maybe just send a little excitement! :)

Addy and Sissy, hope the bad weather misses you!
