What is your weather like ... today

We got about 3/4 an inch of rain !

It rained and hailed a bit yesterday afternoon. Don't think the hail damaged much as only a few got to quarter size.

I know why it rained too. I have a pond I was letting the sun dry so I could clean the bottom AND just an hour prior to the rain I installed a toolbar on the BX tractor to make it dig easier. And I don't care! Thank you powers that be

I have digging teeth, is that the tool bar you are talking, sure does help with digging, they bolt onto the bucket.

For the first time in a while it has been too cold to wear cut offs. They said it was supposed to be in the low 70s but it only go to 66 (I think they lied about that) and it is only 55 now at 5:20PM.

Hauled a load of junk to the roll off that I liberated from the old greenhouse that may become a fish house if all goes well.

perfect day grass mowed edged all the gardens.Swing time a chihuahua on each side.Iced raspberry and chocolate coffee and a pitbull at my feet and sit and relaxed for awhile

I saw it is going up the coast and gonna miss us .We are getting light rains now and then

my pond is starting to overflow

I now have over 4 inches of water in my pond and it will soon be up to the overflow pipe and still supposed to get heavy rains tomorrow

Sunny and warm w/73F right now but clouds are building w/ chance of rain tonight. Gosh my lower back hurts and my stomach too.................geeze hope I don't have another kidney stone..........must drink, drink and drink some more, not beer tho, clear water :beer:

Oh JW I hope you are going to be OK! Those darn kidney stones sound bad! You better drink lots of nice water and see if you can flush it out?

Sissy, love you Lilly's, but love those dogs the most, cause they are so darn cute! Hope all that rain does not wash you away!

Today by the pond, weather was really nice, sky was so blue, and I looked and couldn't believe what I saw by the small front yard pond! There they were, two little fairies dancing in the blue little flowers next to the pond!!

almost thought that heron was real!

The main part of the tropical storm is going to miss us, staying south and east. We will get rain, but not the 4 inches they will get

I hope all your ponds with the storm. If it is not one thing it is another but I guess that is part of the hobby.

we are cool and overcast... the last few days. to look out the window or up to the sky... your just waiting for the first drop in the storm. but it just doesnt happen. 60s in the day, and 40s / low 50s at night.

Last two days ware cool in the 60s and 70s after a few days in the high 80s and low 90s. Today they say back to the 80s.
But we got 3/4 inch of that rare wet stuff from the sky.

I feed gutter water into the pond, it gives the pond a great water change. I have tested the ph after huge rain storms, it does not affect the ph of the pond, thankfully. The overflow just heads down the slope into the woods.
