Now, Southern California, where I lived until 3 years ago, is a different story. It is a desert and when they get much rain down there the streets flood. They have much more sunshine than rain.

Geez you get more rain there than we do Smith! Our rain is around a lot but usually not pouring! Lots of cloudy gray skies and once in awhile some nice sunshine which we appreciate so much B)

It's been sunny here for the last couple of days, and tomorrow too yet. Now, if it would just wait to rain until Friday night, I can mow again on Friday. Just mowed yesterday, but have been needing to mow at least every 5 days and still have to sweep the grass up. I mow high, too, not a "scalper" by any means. This time, since it had been 9 days, I had to raise the mower deck from 3.75 to 4.5. Didn't have to sweep, still looked like I took off at least half of the height! If I mow on Fri (only 3 days after last time) I will lower the deck to 4 but I'm sure I will need to sweep. Oh well, horses enjoy it.
Speaking of horses, my darn Fox Trotter was very sore tonight walking on the road. I was going to ride both of my mares, but the Fox Trotter was really sore so put her back in the paddock. No more grass for her, I'm afraid she is beginning to founder. She's a fat girl, everything goes to her hips and belly. LOL Will know more when the farrier comes hopefully in the next week or so. In the meantime, no grass for her. The Paint can have all she wants, she never gets fat. :)

Yesterday was cloudy, windy and chilly in the 40's in the a.m., until the sun finally decided to show itself mid afternoon, then wasn't too bad. Today, sunny right off the bat, and MUCH warmer! Going to be a beautiful day to be working outside on the new pond! Woohoo!!!

Well we now have the chilly weather but gotta love the rain .Figured it was a great day to make a ham for my company .Oven will warm up the house and take the damp chill off .Started at 57 degrees and now down to 51 degrees .Company went out to look at more houses .They are supposed to look at 12 homes and may see a couple more .Most of them are foreclosures or bank owned and a few up for sale .I just looked at a couple houses online in Henry County they may be interested in also .

Oregon was going to do this for California. Don't know if they ever did but if we did this I think our water cost would go up here cuz we wouldn't have as much even tho Cali. would have to pay for it. Still our price would rise as they use any excuse to hike up prices for everything nowadays! I will sell you some cheap on the black market sissy, lol! Don't tell anyone I said that

lol I wish I could get some nice water here when weather hits a 100 degrees and no rain for a month or 2 .Just like electric they want you to buy all these energy saving items and then complain they are not making a profit so they raise your rates .

By the way I think I just figured out the like system here. I think you are allowed so many likes per forum cuz when I try to like here it won't allow me more but if I move to another forum here it will and so on and so on.
