Well we got realy hard rain last night and a lot of thunder and lightening so my plants are happy and so am I since fire danger went way down also .It is still raining and love it .he breeze that came with the rain is making all the plants do a happy dance .The temp is only going to get up to around 65 today but don't mind that as long as it rains more .I have to go out and rescue a frog who got stuck in a smooth side tub and poor thing can't get out .He is now sitting on a plant in there .

Glad you got the rain sissy! Course it's doing just that here right now as usual. No danger of fire here for sure! Dark clouds above and more on the way till the weekend they say. Temps here in the low 50F range.

lol you hope for sun, I hope for clouds and rain. We did not get much, 0.05 inches, but better than nothing, barely gets the soil wet, but the plants suck it in. It rained more south of us ie DC

Our rain has been pretty steady all day. I think j.w. is hogging the sun north of us. But, it's supposed to come our way around Friday and stay for a few days. Our lawn has been growing fast. Jeff just mowed it a week ago and it's ready again.

Believe me if I could hog it I sure would cuz we see very little of it up here and hey I think Cali gets way more then their fair share of sunshine during the year! Now tell me how much of the sun in Spring/Summer/Fall you guys down there get compared to us...........tell the truth now,lol!

They say we have the bluest skies here in Seattle..............the only trouble is we don't see them that often!

Ok, here's the whole truth, and nothing but the truth... ready?

2011 Rain = 76"
January = 6.1"
February = 7.9"
March = 20.1"
April = 11"
May = 5.35"
June = 1.5"
July = .8"
August = .05"
September = .7"
October = 6.8"
November = 10.1"
December = 5.6"

During the summer, when there is little rain for the mighty redwoods, we get a lot of fog. Sunshine... not so much!

So far in 2012 we have had 57.45" of rain.

That is a lot of rain!

We have had 6 inches since 1/1, with todays rain, 1.3 inches since march 1, normally by now we would be around 16 inches for the year The river that runs near by is already really low.

I have been there, and it is wet! We would float away if we got that much rain.

Spent 2 months on the road after I graduated from college with my ms.
