LOL, what a good boy King Arthur is! He's going to keep you posted of any new smells like that in the future. Sure was wondering what took you so long to figure out there was danger with all his barking. :)
Looked at our extended forecast on Mon, and saw 80's late this week, now that is gone and hoping for 70's! Hoping the 30's for lows change to mid 40's and stays there!

Not much of a chance for rain here either, Addy. Unless it gets over 30% chance, I don't even think of rain. Two days ago, it said 60% chance Mon-Thurs, now its only Monday. Boooooo!
Hard frost this morning. Walked on the grass to bring pup into the house, and it crunched under my feet! Pond was steaming, as it is 50 degrees. Hoping it gets up to 60 today like they say ....

I have deer nest in the woods right there so I really thought he was barking at the deer .They are used him so they usually don't run .The woods goes up and then back down a hill in the back about 600 ft. and then you get to the clearing where they took all the trees out when they forested .On my side of the woods they just seem to pick trees out they wanted and the ones they took were on my property and they were not supposed to touch because they had no rights to my land .Lets put it this way they screwed up big time .The fire department came up the fire road back there to put out the fire .The foresters opened a road up all the way through the back there to get in and out .

There are lawsuits for things far less than what they did to your land, Sissy. If a tree service came and took down trees on my property, I would sue. Trees are not something to just pay for, they are life itself, and if a person wants their woods because of the trees and someone removes them, that's priceless stuff they are removing. I hope they didn't take too many of your trees, and mostly the other property's trees. When the cut things away for a fire path, it does look awful, but on the good side, it makes a great path for horses or 4 wheelers ... but if it's on YOUR property, you would not want people riding through. It's nice if it's your property and you can control it, though. :)

Sorry I've been offline for a while! Been visiting family over Easter.

The weather continues to have a split personality here in the UK - one minute bright sunshine, the next it's hailing! Ugh.

I settled with them as the courts down here are not really nice to out of staters .I had no choice as 2 judges in Chatham were not exactly nice to me and seemed to be more for the foresting company than for me .Would not be surprised if they knew them or were making money off them ,but it goes like that here ,so you learn to deal with it .Not saying i like it or feel like I was treated fairly .But better than dragging it out for years .They will put some of my trees back and clean up ,smaller trees of course .Got all the money for the trees times 3
