The wind and cold are bad today and still freeze warning for tonight .Then temps are supposed to go back up ,I hope they are right .

I have 100 - 150, but they're still played from time to time, so I won't be getting rid of them any time soon. After all, I have to leave SOMETHING to the kids!
Back to the weather: the sun comes out, I go out to work on the pond, it starts to rain, I go back to the computer, the sun comes out..........ad infinitum! (I just KNOW j.w. is going to look that up!)

Forgot you were an antique John but they make them for the elderly also w/ built in hearing aids,lol! I hear they come free w/ the Hover Round Scooter Chairs now

We got 0.02 inches of melted hail water. A little moisture on the plants, barely wet the dirt, now sunny again and windy

Not so far we had a small one start up here not sure why it started but fire department got it out fast and then got everything soaked down .Lack of rain and winds gusting 40 to 60 mph does not help .So far 4 days of high winds but they said they were supposed to die down today but it is after 7 and it is still really windy out .

thank you and me too .They sprayed some kind of foam stuff near the woods line after they put the fire out just in case it started back up but so far so good .I was lucky with that fire because i did not even notice it .King Arthur the pit bull was barking like crazy out near the back fence and finally I went to look what he was barking at and smelled smoke and then when i walked out in the woods all the way to the end where they forested is when i saw the flames and smoke and called the fire department .They put it out in 2 hours yesterday and then foamed the ground just to make sure .It was not my part of the woods that burned it belongs to my neighbors behind me .The king got ice cream and now acts like he is proud of himself and patrols the back fence sniffing the air .Mr big shot hero he is .The guys at the fire department got a kick out of him and gave him a smokey the bear fire hat .
