I cannot let it out how collecting/distributing is done as it is a trade secret now in case I need to patent it and put it on the market, lol!

A neighbor down the road aways told me he asked his neighbor across the street from him if he could please not mow his grass onto the street or if he did could he please sweep it up as it didn't look so nice stuck on the road like that. The neighbor that he told did not like that one bit and said some not so nice things and then replied " That strip of land across the road by you that you have been mowing and fixing up is mine as the county made an error when measuring our properties in this neighborhood a long time ago and never fixed it so I want you to stop doing all the work on it and leave it as it is." So the neighbor who complained about the grass on the road went to the county and found out it was true what the guy said but he also found out a small part of the other guys property across his road from him belongs to him and he says he's going to make that guy take down part of his nice fence he built on his property! And so the feud goes on. I don't see anybody so far doing anything but I also don't see grass being blown on the road anymore so who knows what's up. Such a little thing turned into a big mess!

The grass mowing and blowing the clippings onto the road is one thing this time of year. But, when it gets hot out and the oiled roads in the country by where I live are bubbly with hot oil, all that grass sticks to the oil and it's like they are mulching the darn road! It looks awful! And, the worst part is that this neighbor loves to mow now that he got a new Kubota tractor last year, and so he mows across the road from my house and blows it on the road there, too. The only reason I can figure that he does it this way is because he thinks the grass will block the flow of the water in the ditch, and his sewer drains into the ditch in front of his house ... but that has nothing to do with the flow of water. It will push the grass right along with it. He's just stupid. LOL And, he mows shorter than I do, and it really ticks me off when I mow MY ditch 2 days after he mowed MY ditch and I'm still mowing higher than what he mowed. He likes to scalp and although I mowed higher than usual this time, I always mow higher than him. My grass is always green, never yellow because I scalped it. But, that's just my way. I won't complain about the blowing grass onto the road ... just let everyone know I didn't do it. LOL Oh, and the property across the road from me USED to be owned by him, but he sold it, and the farmer never mows it, and the road commissioner mows our township road ditches maybe twice a year, so at least it stays mowed. I mow it when I have time, down to his house, but not in front of his house for goodness sake.

After a beautiful weekend, perfect weather, could not have asked for any better weather, going to be high 80's again today and tomorrow! Yippee!!! I'm sure loving this weather. Nurseries are putting plants out finally. In fact, last weekend, plants that were really tiny, were probably 5X's at large this weekend. Amazing what a greenhouse can do for young plants.

Well it's not like the 90F we had yesterday, tee hee................... but at least it's not raining. That should start this evening or tomorrow just as planned for the rest of eternity  We will not have a need for a pond anymore as everything will be underwater and there will be a fish takeover :goldfish: :goldfish: :goldfish: :goldfish:

It's not raining here today either. We had 12" of rain last week and more to come starting tomorrow. I so hope the spring weather arrives soon. I think the rain is helping clear my pond, along with the tadpoles eating the algae. Although, I can't see the tadpoles since they left their egg sacs. They may have become fish food. Maybe that's why my goldfish are smiling!

It's actually quite warm here this afternoon... 60's. Did some work on the pond. The water temp is now up to 52 so the fish got fed. If I want to get really warm, I just go into my hot house... around 100 in there. Hello Mr. Sun. Thank you for visiting. Love the natural vitamin D.

Was really about 60F today and dry..............and I'm not fooling you this time. Got the lawn mowed and transplanted some day lilies around my duckweed tub. Now I'm on the hunt for more rocks on my walks to surround it with. I pile any rocks I find along the road in the brush and then when I have somewhere to go driving I'll stop along the rock saving route and pick them up unless somebody robs me of them B)

Great idea with the rock gathering, JW! I don't have any such luck in my neighborhood.
It was high 80's here again, sunny all day long, with a nice breeze. I'm so sorry for those of you who are waiting for spring weather. I promise I will not get mad when this summer, you are all enjoying 80's and we are boiling in over 100 degree temps, which everyone is getting really worried about here!
I think last year, mid April farmers were in the field planting, and the old timers were saying, "It's WAYYYY too early." Some of them got lucky, others had to replant, but for the most part, they got really good crops. They started planting today around me. Unbelievable ....

Ok it's a deal and I will be looking forward to those 80F temps and you are allowed to get mad if it gets in the 100's there. Never gets that hot here except once in a blue moon! And then would only last for a day prolly.

It hit 60 degrees today and one of the warmest days we have had in a while. It was 40's and 50's over the weekend. I was in the south suburbs today and it was 10 degrees warmer. The lake breezes have kept our area a lot cooler. CE send some of that warm air from downstate up here!

Keith, our "warm" weather just went south, too. Only supposed to be in the 60's next few days. We got a little bit of rain last night, supposed to get more all day today and tomorrow, but it is welcome.... hoping the weekend will be dry, though. :)

Serious fire warnings, low humidity, high winds, colder than normal. Freeze warnings...........geez.

We have had 1 inch of rain since 3/1/12. About 4 inches behind in rain. No rain predicted for the next 7 days. The pond is constantly dropping in level do to the winds and low humidity.
