Yikes, Sissy! Doesn't a yellow or green sky mean bad weather, like tornadoes and the such? Be careful!!!
It was quiet here when I got home, then all of a sudden about 2 hours later, it just blew up really fast here. Nice to come inside and listen to the whistling of the wind outside. Only thing I was worried about was the tub I have leaning on my goldfish pond, temporary filter. Worried it might blow over and pump the water out of the pond! Wind has died down now, though, so all is fine again. And, I guess it would take quite a wind to blow the tub over, since it's fully of water, and about a 20 gal tote.

Nice and sunny here today. Was able to clean up after the raccoons. They always dig in the mulch we put in the flower beds last fall. Darn buggers, every morning it's all kicked out on the grass and takes me all day to rake it back. I'm gonna make my DH go out and pee all around the borders, not on my plants tho..................heard animals don't like human pee. Guess I could do it too but it's easier for him. Wonder if he'll do it,lol?

LMAO JW ... I hope you have a privacy fence if your DH is going to pee around all your flower beds. LOL Maybe you should collect it and "dribble" it everywhere instead.
I never heard that, but I'll bet you're right. Wonder what the raccoons are looking for under your mulch? Worms maybe? They have stuff you can spray on your planted areas to keep them away, too, but hey, human pee is free!!! Just have your DH drinks lots of water or coffee or tea ....

JW be sure and let us know if it works. Wonder if it will keep dogs out of my plants? Maybe my hubby needs to take aim?

And look for more driftwood for your pond, PL! Have a fun day.
It's cloudy this morning, kind of chilly (especially since I left a window open and it's about 60 in my house LOL). Hoping the sun will show itself sometime today!

We get an average of 10" of rain a year here. We have had a half inch total so far this month... I have to do a lot of hand watering until the irrigation ditch starts running in May. :(

Good job sissy on the mulch and rocks and your property is fixed up nicely. Those stream pictures look spooky!

Weather not bad today,no rain and trying to let the sunshine in. Well I did some of the raccoon prevention idea last night and some more this morning and so far no messes from the raccoons. There was just a little bit of scraping in a couple spots but no biggy and that wasn't near where I put the..................lets call it "The Treatment".

would have went down there to get better pic but it was so slippery and wet I fell twice and got all muddy and wet .The developer is trying to sell that land to build a house on can you believe that .I took pics so I could show it to the county and stop him as not only would he be stopping a natural stream but be causing other problems as well .I have to take those up to Chatham to show to several departments there to preserve the natural habitat there . Raccoons huh you don't need them setting up house near your property .
