Yes Brandon wins the award for the most snow on the ground! Lets just hope is melts nice and slow and not all at once or that could mean lots of muck in the back yard. The little bit of snow we got yesterday is melting slowly, but my back yard will be mucky tomorrow I am sure.... lots of little Poppy paws will decorate the kitchen floor I am sure! It's all just plain dirt and will wash up nice and quick, not a big deal.

We are supposed to get really warm on Saturday and Sunday, up to the seventy's I heard! That warm enough to get the lawn chair our and have a little back yard tan after work! :)

Had to go over to our neighbors tonight. Was making meatloaf and didn't have the crackers for it. Thank goodness they had some. Saved me a trip to the store. We always borrow food from each other if one of us runs out.

You guys all along the eastern side of north America sure got lots of snow and blizzards this year, while out here in west things seem much milder than normal.

Event horizon, that's a very cool name, how did you pick that name? Is it from a movie or something??

Yumm ... meatloaf! I have not had that for a while, and have some hamburger in the freezer couldn't think what to make with it! Now I know. Thanks for suggestion, Ryan.
Colleen, are you joshing us with 70's this weekend? You better be, cause it's only going to be in the 40's here in Illinois. I heard a forecaster for the next 3 months, IL is supposed to be colder than normal in March. Darn! Then April colder, too, but closer to the "normal" line, and May hotter than normal. Geesh ....
The frost is out of the ground here, and wow is it mucky! I'm sure glad I sowed seed in my pastures, this is perfect weather to stick it in the mud. Hoping the rain we had all day on Monday didn't wash any away, but it should have already been into the mud by then. No horses or cows out there to push it in too deep, so hoping I get lots of grass/clover/etc. sprouting in the next month! I like to reseed every spring to help it out, and so far it has kept my horses (and the neighbor's cows last summer) in plenty of grazing food from end of May through at least October, if not November or even into December like last year. Sure is worth the $100 I pay, saving way more than that in hay that's for sure.

I love the space and the stars. Don’t know a lot, but I love the little I do know. The Event Horizon is part of a Black Hole... it is the point of no return, not even light can escape if it crosses the Event Horizon.

Drove to the airport around 7:00 pm, sloppy but not too bad. Headed home around 11:00, and what a difference! Slush made it hard to tell where the lane markings were, and the idiots in the big tractor trailers were weaving in and out, some doing near double the speed limit! The ten miles north from the highway were covered in 3 or 4" of snow, very slow going, but got home safely around 12:30. Glad I don't have to do THAT every day!!

Wow Colleen in the 70's? Our extended forecast for here is 49F on Saturday and 53F on Sunday. I'll be happy if we get those temps cause that will be the warmest that we've been this year. Currently 31F and tomorrow a high of 45F.
