One of our two central heating units stopped working last night. Patiently waiting for our favorite Heating/AC shop to open.

Technician just left. Igniter needed replacing. Great to have heat downstairs again!

Woke up to what they said was light snow. Ha, at a rate of 1.5 inch per hour, we currently have 5 inches on the ground and no signs of it letting up soon. The roads weren't plowed with 3 inches on the roads but no school delay. School started at 8:15 and they let out at 10:30. I tried to get the kids to school but the long hill was choked full of stuck cars, vans and a city plow that was attempting to put sand down but he was stuck too.

nothing but rain here ,not heavy just steady light rain .It sure is foggy out though .Temp it says is 42 but guessing rain makes it feel colder to me .We need the rain so happy with it .I have to get heat pump tuned up this spring .Always scared it will got out on me .In NJ I paid for a yearly contract and they offered 24 hour service and all parts included ,here they don't offer that service and hate that .

Oh you guys w/ the snow it looks so pretty tho! We are getting some sunshine today and loving it. Hubby still building that extra wood shed for all that wood we cut up in the Fall. It's all still sitting in piles over on the guys property waiting for us to give it a home. Oh my aching back when we have to start lifting and stacking it! Found that the back chair massage thingy we bought at Costco really helps my back after a hard days work or even my long walks. Guess it works those enzymes that build up in your muscles and love the heat deal on it also.

Ryan you and JW bantering back and forth about the black market, I was laughing so hard the dogs were wondering what was wrong with me!
Rained here all day long, ditches full and overflowing. I'm hoping the pasture seed I sowed on Sun. didn't get washed away, but rather got pounded into the mud to soon sprout, once we get some sunshine and warmer temps. Supposed to get only about 1" of snow tomorrow, not sure if it will stick, though, since the ground is very soft, thinking maybe frost is coming out already. Far as I'm concerned, it can just melt as soon as it hits the ground.
Glad you got your heater going, Lou. Is that your house in your avatar???? Wow, that's a beauty! Can't wait to see your new landscaping around that gorgeous mansion. :razz:

Right around freezing here. Weatherman can't make up his mind whether we are going to get rain, snow or whatever, but we ARE going to get lots of it overnight and early tomorrow. Our daughter and the kids are coming back from NZ for good, SIL following in May (he's working under contract). Hope the roads aren't too bad when we go to the airport later in the day.
