We have earthquakes here all the time but most are too small to even notice. We are waiting for the big one!
Rain here again and in the 40's so not as cold as it has been at night. Nice to not have to use so much wood in the stove.

That is the beach at Delray Beach, Fl, one of the rougher days.

Must be nice to walk on the beach, feel the salty ocean breeze, swim in those big waves!! Right now it is 12 F and I am tired, worked lat this evening and before that we had non stop company this afternoon. My hubby had his friend over and they had a beer together. Was nice to see him happy and having fun with his friend.

Here is a picture of the nice walk I had today... :)

Can you walk to those beaches from where you were staying? Beautiful!

It is a 5-7 minute drive JW from the house we were working on, from the condo it would be a 2 minute drive, but that is rented now. You could walk there, but it would be a long walk. You have to get to a bridge to get over the intercostal waterway to then make it to the ocean.

This is a map, you can see the road called lake ida, that is where the house is west of 95, look at the intercostal you can see bridges spaced here and there, all are draw bridges to let tall ships down the waterway.

We drive down atlantic to get to the ocean for our walk

I love the ocean, my parents used to take us to the outer banks, (long string of islands off of north carolina) when we were kids. We would spend 4-6 weeks camping there. Here in maryland it takes us about 3 hours to get to the ocean, 15 hours to drive to florida, but once there minutes to the sea. The last year we have been so busy down in florida, we quite often did not even make it to the sea, this trip we made a promise to get there every day.

Long distance parent care can be time consuming when you finally get down to take care of their home and your place (fixing a foreclosure takes a lot of time),

Remember old man winter is one cranky person and he may be leading us into false hope just to see how we can take it
