20 degrees this morning. 31 for the hi today

I go by water temps for feeding and not air temps.

48 degrees F night and day here gonna dip next week nearer seasonal average, All my babies swimming and munching on the pond algea thaught maybe give them a handfull of w/germ wadya think guys?

I myself wouldn't do it w/ mine till temps in the Spring get up to 55F consistent but some say it's ok w/ just a little. Guess it's up to you whether you want to take the chance or not.

JW, get those animals in "two by two" and the fish can swim along side in the ark in a large box net beside the ark. Ha ha

Mike, nice to meet you and the algae is very good for fish to eat right now, super fresh green lush algae diet packed full of nurients that is very easy to digest. Never tried the wheat germ but heard it is good, if they run out of algae you could try that too.

Our weather here is just delightfull, above freezing and 36 degrees, will get up to a whopping 43 degrees Fahrenheit tomorrow!! Get out the POOL!! Ha ha ha...... but then by Thursday we will be back to the deep freezer ....

Our snow is so frozen, you can walk on top of it and not sink :grumble: that is where there is snow. Where ther isn't snow is Mud! Blehhhh Makes for a VERY messy Piggy!

Come on I want some snow now, tired of this rain..........send me some cold and white stuff please! My ski boots are all glued up now and ready to go! No downhill just the cross country stuff..............I wanna keep my bones in one piece :razz:

lol jw think you are always raining there! That is why it is so green. Good thing you have not turned green yet! we are at 52 right now., pond still has ice on it.
