Are you serious? Is it snowing there today??? I sure wish I could push some of my warmth your direction, JW. I would gladly have just 60 degrees here, if I could push the other 25 to you! I can't believe how warm it is. Kind of scary, actually! Trees are flowering, still waiting for my dogwood to bud out, but it's a late one so I'll have to be more patient with it. The burgandy leaf Red Bud trees are getting ready to bloom, the regular green leaf Red Bud trees are behind that, though. I have two flowering crab trees getting buds, too! Oh, just remembered I planted 2 apple trees, better check them for flowers, as if it decides to get cold, I'll need to protect them so I have some apples this year!
Think warm, JW ... it's coming, it HAS to!

Remember awhile ago I did ask for snow and yes we did get some today again but now it has subsided and sun is trying it's hardest to squeeze out from behind the clouds. We will be lucky tho if we hit a high of 40F today I'm afraid. I must put in a request for the snow to stop now............we have had enough..............time for Spring.......need some shine now.............thank you very much! Sissy I do like the cold old man winter but come on now it'll be Spring in a couple days and I like her too.........hmmmmmmmmm, why do I think Spring is female and winter is an old man? What is Fall and Summer? Ok I think it's cuz Spring is first and young and fresh and then comes Summer more mature but still a woman I think w/ her pretty flowers and then comes Fall...........think that one's turning to a man for some reason.........maybe cuz it's kinda like a man losing his hair compared to the plants and trees losing their leaves and then Winter at the end has a snowy white beard so must be a man cuz old women only get those darn sparse stiff whiskers now and then on their little chins, lol!

You guys are all lucky we have had about 2 feet of snow in the last week, down to -6 degrees centigrad here last night. Oh well guess that's why I have a skii hill 10 minutes from home. All my fish did survive the winter again however, not sure about the plants

I left my tropical lotus in their pots, covered them with plastic and stacked straw around them. I uncovered them over the weekend since the weather has been so warm, no signs of life yet. I was going to pitch them, but hubby says to wait and see if they come up. When do they normally come up?

Have been in the high 60's during the day and low 40's at night, full sun for the last 2 weeks. Then snow hit last night :( High 40's during the day and high 20's at night today and tomorrow. Then back up to the high 60's and sunny for the next week at least. That will put us almost into April and maybe smooth sailing from here on out.

Even with all the warmth and sun, it sure has been windy this March.

We are windless, rainless, and hot, staying in the high 70's and low 80's for the next 10 days.

Pecan, you'll have to teach me your sun dance, and I'll do it here in IL, and with the two of us dancing, I'm sure that sun will head by JW's way! 80's here today through Wed., then storms Thurs and Fri., highs in 60's they are saying, but isn't that NORMAL for the first week of spring???? I just hope we don't get winter in April!
My burgandy leaf Red Bud trees are just starting to blossom. Addy, what type of flowering tree is the red one? I love that! I have 2 flowering crabs, but they are not budding out yet. My apple trees have a few leaves, but not flowers yet. I'll have to watch to make sure any flowers don't get frost bit if we get a cold snap.
Bullfrog croaked again this evening. I love that!

ce those are miniature peach trees, this is their 3rd summer. I had peaches on them last year, but it was too dry, they dried up like little prunes. All of the trees here have blossomed, cherries, peaches, apples leafing out, daffodils almost done, tulips starting. lilies getting close to having flowers (pond)

Everything a month early.
